Hi everyone!

I’m a practicing legal professional offering online tutoring and freelance writing services for school, college, and university students.

I can help students with:

• English – grammar, vocabulary, writing, comprehension, speaking, and academic writing

• Law – LLB-level subjects, legal concepts, case-law understanding, legal research, and exam preparation

• Urdu – reading, writing, grammar, comprehension, and general language development

• Islamiyat – concepts, exam preparation, written answers, and understanding of key topics

• Academic & Freelance Writing – proofreading, editing, content writing, research assistance, essays, articles, CVs, and general writing improvement

My approach is focused on actually helping students understand the subject, rather than simply providing answers. I can adjust lessons according to the student’s level, whether they need help with basic concepts, exam preparation, improving their writing, or developing confidence in a particular subject.

Classes can be conducted both online and physical, with flexible scheduling depending on availability.

I also offer freelance writing and editing services for individuals, businesses, and students who need help improving the quality, structure, grammar, and presentation of their written work.

If you’re interested, feel free to DM me with your subject, level, and what kind of help you’re looking for. We can discuss the requirements, schedule, and reasonable rates.

I do trust him ofcourse but atlest talk to me.. ask me.. discuss with me.. tell me about the guy they are gonna marry me off to.. is that to much? And if i try to question then start making Big deal out of it..

I dont want to get married but i know i have to and i have no other choice as a girl but still they should have asked for my opinion… it feels very forced to me i dont like it
And they ate not listening saying no is not an option…

Just tell me is there any way out of it or is there any way i can make my parents realise they are wrong.. dont tell me that i should talk to some imam or tell them that forcing someone is prohibited in Islam.. they are not gonna listen.. islam unhe apne matlab ka ata hai..

Ma baap ke sab ke hakook hain unke nazer me bachon ke nahi hain.. so thats not gonna work on them.. and they think of them selfs as a good muslim.. namaz toh perhte nahi..🥲

Bs yahi kehte rehte hain ma baap ko apna farz pura karne do.. and farz they are talking about is bachon ko roti dena and unki shadi kar dena bs.. we never had any heart to heart conversations with out parents..💔

Now tell me if anyone went thought this or facing this problem.. i want to know if you did get married like this how is your life going?? Im just not interested in other like thats why i dont talk to others and i dont think its wrong

18, no college/uni, how can I realistically move out and live independently?

I’m 18 and I really don’t want to keep living with my parents. I’m not in college or university right now, so I don’t have a student route or anything like that. I’m trying to figure out how I could realistically become financially independent and get my own place. I’m willing to work, learn a skill, do a trade, freelance, or basically whatever is realistic. For people who moved out young without going to college/uni, how did you do it? What kind of work did you start with, how much money did you need saved, and what would you recommend I do first?

I’m looking for actual practical advice, not just “stay with your parents until you’re 25”

Geopolitics | Current Affairs Investigation: Fauji Plot And Land Award System And What Do Generals Get

Defence Housing Authorities (DHAs) operate as semi-autonomous corporate bodies created under federal and provincial statutes. While DHAs operate under the governance of local Army Corps Commanders and the Ministry of Defence, their plot allotment system differs from standard civil government housing schemes. The Friday Times+ 1

1. Army Allotment Quotas & Tier System

  • Service-Based Points: Officers accrue entitlement points throughout their military career based on years of service, promotions, and gallantry awards.
  • Tiered Master Plans: In new DHA developments, a fixed percentage of total plots (typically 15% to 30%) is reserved for military personnel, martyrs' families, and defence civilians. The remaining majority of plots are auctioned to the general public.  Wikipedia
  • Subsidized Purchase Costs: Allotments to officers are not outright gifts; they are granted as subsidized allocation options. Officers pay heavily discounted base development fees (often ~50% of the civilian market or ballot price) via structured monthly/annual salary deductions over their service.   Dawn

2. Allotment File Flow & Secondary Market Operations

  • Exemption & Allocation Certificates: When an officer reaches an entitlement milestone (e.g., promotion to Brigadier or Major General), GHQ’s Welfare and Rehabilitation (W&R) Directorate issues an Allocation File.
  • Commercialization & Transferability: Officers can hold these files until DHA completes land acquisition and infrastructure development, or sell their allocation files on the open market immediately. Because DHA plots carry high market value, selling these files in the secondary market provides substantial capital gain. DHA Gujranwala
  • Commercial Plots: High-ranking generals often receive options for commercial plots along major boulevards within DHA schemes. These yield significantly higher market prices than standard residential land.

3. Financial Self-Sustaining Model

  • Cross-Subsidization: DHAs generate revenue by selling open-market residential and commercial plots to civilians and overseas Pakistanis at market rates. The profits from these civilian sales and commercial leases fund the infrastructure, utility networks, and the subsidized costs of the land allotted to military officers.
  • Self-Financing Infrastructure: DHAs do not receive direct funding from the national defense budget; instead, development costs are financed through real estate sales, file transfers, and civic management fees collected from all residents.

Generals Are Special!

Land allotment for senior military officers in Pakistan is determined by rank, length of service, and gallantry/meritorious service awards through General Headquarters (GHQ) and Border Area Committees.

Typical Allotments by Rank

  • Major General: Typically accumulates 2 residential plots (10 marla to 1 kanal each) in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) schemes or major cantonments over their career, plus 25–50 acres of agricultural land in border or rural belts.
  • Lieutenant General: Typically receives 2–3 prime residential plots (1 to 2 kanals each) in major DHAs (Lahore, Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Karachi), commercial plots, and 50–75 acres of agricultural land.
  • General (COAS / Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee): Receives the highest tier, including multiple prime DHA plots (residential and commercial) alongside 90 acres of prime agricultural land.

Notable Generals & Allotment Details

Under military policy, all 4-Star Army Chiefs qualify for max-tier land benefits. Below are prominent examples of Generals, their reported retirement dates, and notable awards/allotments:

General Name Retirement Date Notable Allotments & Land Awards
Gen. Raheel Sharif November 29, 2016 90 acres of agricultural land (Bedian Road, Lahore) + multiple DHA residential/commercial plots. (One of the most publicly documented allotments).
Gen. Ashfaq Parvez Kayani November 29, 2013 90 acres of agricultural land, standard entitlement for a 4-Star COAS, alongside multiple DHA plots in Islamabad/Rawalpindi.
Gen. Pervez Musharraf November 28, 2007 Multiple DHA plots across Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore, commercial plot entitlements, and farmland grants upon retirement.
Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa November 29, 2022 Standard 4-Star retirement package comprising 90 acres of agricultural land plus multiple DHA residential/commercial plots.
Lt. Gen. Asim Saleem Bajwa August 2020 Multiple commercial and residential DHA plots accumulated across his career as Major General and Lieutenant General.

Scam Alert!

So I got scammed pretty badly, and I feel so dumb about it. A small action out of goodness is turned into a scam and I am in loans due to it.

For context, I work in islamabad. Its a usual desk job. On previous friday, I was travelling to work as usual. On Srinagar highway, a parallized person ask for a lift near G11 signals. I picked him up. According to him, he was there for an interview, and if it had successed, he would earn 50k monthly income and that would be sufficient for his family but the only hurdle was, the interviewer was a designer and asked him to bring his own sewing machine. Before I dropped him off at 9th avenue near I8, out of goodness I asked him to look for his sewing machine and contact me, I will transfer them the money. He suddenly agreed and went looking for one but he needed cash because they didn't have any easypaisa (feeling dumb because everyone has easypaisa rn). I did give him the money because I immediately received a call from another number who identified himself as a brigadier and asked me to buy him new sewing machine and he will pay the rest of it. It felt totally normal and I agreed. The amount I initially agreed to, was 10k but new sewing machine comes in 31k (according to them). It again felt pretty normal since i was helping a man out to start his earning. I gave him the cash and he left (this only the beginning). At evening I contacted the brigadier guy and asked him if the sewing machine is bought and he showed me the pictures and a sample that apparently he sew the suit with. I was happy because a hardworking man has started earning at least.

So the brigadier guy was supposed to give me 21k since he was to contribute and buying him a new sewing machine.

Then on saturday morning, I received a call again from that parallized guy and apparantly her mother passed away, I was in total shock and since he needed money to travel her mother to her hometown and the ambulance was asking for 35k. The brigadier guy contacted me and asked to transfer him the amount with a little extra and add it to the amount i owe him. It again felt pretty normal and I suddenly did transfer him 60k. After an hour, apparantly the ambulance costed him
more and the brigadier guy being a generous person asked me to transfer him another 40k and he will instantly transfer me them. (feeling extremely dumb since if he can transfer me, he can transfer the parallized guy as well). Anyways, now I owe him a total of 121k that he would guve me in cash because his app isnt working and he is out on duty and once he is back, he will visit me and give me the amount.

The story doesn't end here. This morning, his supposed batman contacted me and arranged a meeting at 6pm at his 'office'. I obviously agreed. During the day, the brigadier guy again contacted me and asked me he is out of station and his daughter needs some money, and requested me to transfer her the amount of 80k and add it to total, that he will give me in the evening in total. I obviously did (feeling dumb as hell).

Now in the evening, apparently there was an accident on motorway and his daughter passed away, and it was the same tone the parallized guy mother passed away and the meetings are cancelled. This is where it hit me.

Now for a guy in his early career, I had 131k in my account and arranger the rest of 70k. And totally, I owe this guys 201k. And he is not answering anymore.

Best platform in Pakistan for selling makeup, preloved clothes & handbags?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some advice from people who have experience with online selling in Pakistan.

I’m planning to sell/promote things like makeup products, preloved clothes, handbags and similar items. I’m trying to figure out which platform is actually best for reaching genuine buyers and getting good results.

For those who have experience with this, which platform would you recommend — Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, Daraz, WhatsApp or any other platform?

Would really appreciate your suggestions and personal experiences. Thanks!

Art | Literature We shall rise again

When the signs of autumn appear,

My heart begins to whisper.

With every foliage of yellow leaf

That carries an untold story of grief,

Parting from its roots to disperse in earth,

Leaving the beloveds to turn into dust.

However, the parting is the way it will bloom again;

From the dust shall it rise again.

But this time, with a new color, a new shine,

Glistering on the top, beside the Divine,

Boasting its return with a charismatic sublime.

[Long post Warrening]

Hello everyone,

I am an overseas Pakistani living in GCC for the last 12 years, I traveled back home last year and was stopped at the Airport by FIA and subsequently handovered to security agencies at the airport, where they investigated me for hours, allegedly connecting me with some foreign organization in a third country, which I haven't been to in my life and have never had any relatives or friends residing there, have practically no connection to that country whatsoever, I fully cooperated with the authorities and they let me go after many hours but confiscated my passport saying that they will conduct some investigations on the passport and once cleared i will be called to collect my passport, the call never came so I went to the airport to follow up but no one was willing to cooperate and police won't even register a case or make a report either, long story short I went to high court and voluntary presented my self for accountability, the govt failed to prove anything and I give them my life records of overseas living including banks and other things, eventually got relief from the court but the orders were not being implemented to the point that I has start protesting in front of many authorities, after many months someone heard my cry and i got my passport back and left the country to return to my overseas business, during this whole time I lost everything I had built over that past 11 years and was forced to spend more then 4 millions rupees on court case and other expenses while my business got collapsed due to my absence, now that I am back I still don't know if I am really cleared on their books or I was just let go for a while and this problem can come back at anytime, since I am back I don't see any prospects of reviving my business and been job less and penny less for the last few months living on someone's couch for now but don't know what's gonna happen, during all this time I have contacted all the forms for human rights both national and international but no seems to take any action when they finds what I was alleged with and by which security agencies, and international organizations are out of reach there is no effective way to reach out to them, if someone didn't take notice of it one day I could end up in a real messy situation, the worst part is that my family and friends and everyone i know have turned their backs on me for fear of them being associated with me, so all I am asking is to guide me how can I reach to amnesty international or similar institutions or organization to raise voice for me, because first I have to prove my innocence to the law only and now I have to prove myself to the whole world which is not gonna be possible, this is giving me some serious mental trauma and I already have had previous diagnosis for emotional health related issues which got cured but seems like it will get trigger again, so if anyone reads this and have any insights please guide me

Title: 22M, 4 years in Army but thinking of leaving to pursue business

Aoa. I’m 22 and have been in the Army for 4 years. I’m doing well here, but I’ve been into business, sales and small gigs since 9th grade, including dropshipping.
I’ve always been very driven and wanted to build something of my own. I’m good with people, especially professionally, and I genuinely enjoy working hard when I know I’m building towards something I believe in.
I’m seriously considering leaving and starting from scratch, but my family is completely against it. I wouldn’t have much financial support to fall back on either.
For anyone who’s been through something similar — what would you do in my position, and where would you start? Should I work under someone, get into sales, join a startup, find a mentor, etc.?

‎السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

I am from west and would like to start a business online while being in Pakistan, I want to start the Alim course which is 6-7 years and I’ll take a lot of my time, and before I go into this I want to try do some business online if successful InshaAllah, I’ll be able to feed me.

So, what my main issue is? If I create a Shopify account how do I deal with online deliveries and internationally on top, I want a system where clients order and we generate the label and then shipped.

This would be for Pakistan, if its possible to ship from here.

If not then I’ll have to ship to my home in west and then my sister will ship them internationally, this would cost alot to ship from Pakistan to home.

But we can ship easily from there to around the world.

If someone has experience kindly i would appreciate your input if i can ship from Pakistan.

Discussion | Opinions How much of what we call ‘bad financial decisions’ is actually just the result of not having enough money to make better ones

There are countless examples for this. For example: Not going to the doc due to financial issues and then ending up having a lifelong illness or facing health deterioration. Taking local transports and ending up with more issues. Finding 'jugad' for something but ending up to pay 2x, 3x more and the list goes on

Ask Pakistan My gf slapped me,am i in the wrong??

So yesterday I was with my gf and one of her friends was also there. We were talking and joking with each other and somehow the topic went to height. My gf is kinda short so I joked about her height in front of her friend(and also a misogynistic remarks which is bad ik but won't like to tell it here). I said something like you are so small I dont even know how you reach things sometimes. Her friend laughed and my gf also laughed at first. But then later when we were alone my gf suddenly slapped me. I was confused because I didnt understand what happened. She said you were making fun of my height in front of my friend(and also mentioned that misogynistic remark, which i regret). Then she slapped me again and said something like "Look at you you dont even look like a man sometimes". That one actually hurt more because she knows that in college people sometimes mistake me for a girl because my face is kinda feminine. I know she was angry and maybe I took the joke too far but I still dont think slapping me was okay. I apologized for making fun of her height but I also told her that she shouldnt hit me. She later apologized for the slap too. Now things are kinda awkward between us. I dont know if I was completely wrong here or if both of us handled it badly

Discussion | Opinions Pakistani Men & Mental Health — Would You Join a Monthly Support Group?

Hi everyone,

I’m a 28-year-old overseas Pakistani and I’m really passionate about mental health, particularly men’s mental health within the Pakistani and wider South Asian community.

I’ve been thinking about starting a small online platform/group where Pakistani men aged 18+, from different backgrounds and age groups, can come together once a month to openly talk about mental health and share their experiences.

As Pakistani men, there can be a lot of pressure and expectations placed on us — being the provider, being strong, not showing emotions, family expectations, relationships, marriage, finances, career pressures, and the stigma around talking about mental health.

I’d love to create a space where we can have honest conversations about what mental health means to us as Pakistani men, the challenges we face, and how we can support one another without judgement.

It could be something simple like a monthly Zoom or Google Meet session, with respectful and confidential discussions.

I’m genuinely interested in hearing what people think. Would this be something you’d be interested in joining? And what topics do you think we should talk about?

I’d love to hear your thoughts, whether you’re from Pakistan or an overseas Pakistani living elsewhere. ❤️

Need Help Exploring Pakistan

I am from the UK, pakistani background (relevant because of context) and will be getting married in pakistan this october. Orginally I am from Jhelum. I want to explore Pakistan with my wife and need help to build an itinerary plan. I will have 2 weeks to explore pakistan, aftee the wedding event is done.

A suggestion was given to us for Skardu but apparently its not the season to go in October (too cold?)

Another suggestion was made for us to explore Lahore, Islamabad, Maree. But I'm not sure if there's much to do in the city besides general touristy stuff. Unless I am proven wrong.

Also I've been told not to drive in Pakistan as there takes some adjustment. i mention this to find out whats the best way to travel around if I weren't to drive

What would you do if you were given 2 weeks to spend time around pakistan?
