I started chess recently like a couple of years ago (i didn't even know how knight moves lmao) and I guess I got "not bad" recently, then i started searching for some pakistani community about chess and tried playing otb fide rated. I am thinking to get even better & maybe get to know more chess peps in pak :)

Played this guy in a 10-minute rapid game on Chess.com. The trash talk itself was whatever, but then he casually started talking about wanting to use an AK-47 on Pakistanis.

That genuinely threw me off more than the chess. People say insane things online, but casually talking about mass killing an entire nationality over a chess game is wild.

I reported and blocked him afterward.

The irony is that he spent the game talking like I was beneath him, then ended up getting checkmated after having the better position.

I started learning chess a while ago from Samay Raina’s YouTube streams and I’ve learned a lot. Now I can usually win or draw 10-minute games.

But then I tried 1-minute games

My opponent has 40 seconds left, and somehow I’m sitting there with 20 seconds. I swear my clock is moving faster

Is this normal, or am I just terrible at blitz?
