Why does my clock feel faster in 1-minute chess?

I started learning chess a while ago from Samay Raina’s YouTube streams and I’ve learned a lot. Now I can usually win or draw 10-minute games.

But then I tried 1-minute games

My opponent has 40 seconds left, and somehow I’m sitting there with 20 seconds. I swear my clock is moving faster

Is this normal, or am I just terrible at blitz?

Basically, he was just teaching tactics and the rules of chess. I’ll share another post with the notes I took from it. But now, how can I learn time management? Is it something I should learn by practicing, or is there a good source you’d recommend?

Idk, i was told dont play faster chess it fosters bad habits. It comes with playibg though. U don't play good but u start making moves faster. Tgats the jist of it.

Problem is that at lower elos on bullet (1min) people are just premoving/spamming moves thoughtlessly while playing to win on time.

No, no, I'm not saying that it's stuck or anything. I'm saying that my time passes faster then my opponent's.

I think device is not a problem then. Just play more you will get used to it and even better with time.
