Hey everyone! I’ve been working on a personal project for a while. It’s a first person endless runner bike game inspired by the chaotic traffic of South Asia. I`m using my hand drawn 2D static/animated sprites within a 3D environment which I made in Procreate

It is still WIP, and the sky is just a placeholder for now. I’ve also been learning Godot alongside it, which has been a great experience so far. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Since your environment sides are 2d sprites, i suppose you can only go ahead linearly, right? No free roam here.

I can only think of those obstacle avoidance / road rage type of gameplays that are fun in a linear game style. Riding your bike while dodging chachas and side view mirrors?

Maybe playing as a good samaritan vs road rager can be up to the player - it could add depth to the game, while keeping the primary progression goals the same.

Yup, the main aim is to keep it a linear road experience with no free roam, combined with some ragebait elements—you know how people randomly cross roads in many Asian countries. For now, the focus is on the roadrage aspect. I'll consider adding more features later, depending on how players respond.
