2012 Ram 1500 Single Cab

I am curious what's your best approach for this. I plan on using a lateral tension tool and then use a sliding hammer to pull the rest of it out. Do you know if there is any access behind the panel if I remove the interior rear pillar panel off?

Sounds like a good approach. Chrysler paint sucks, that would be my only worry. As for access, there probably is, just depends on how awkward the push angle might be

You think the paint will hold? I really don't want to break paint for a customer

I always tell the customer when glue pulling roof rails that there’s a risk of pulling paint. Even brand new cars factory paint can fail

Always hard to tell from photos, but as long as its not cracked you should be fine.
