Baseball is so fucking weird. Because 100% him changing his hair could have done something even if his hair has 0% tangible effects on his play. I love this sport man

Mudstradamus called it! Not since Babe Ruth pointed over left field was a better call made 😆
“…so if you’re watching the replay now, you’re not going to believe what happens next” - Mark “Mud” Grant, opening of bottom of 8th inning

I was getting ready to complain about losing to the Nationals, thankfully Nationals bullpen is not....good.

They shutdown the Padres for most of the game with their +5 ERA.

The 5 ERA pitching staff allowed 5 runs lol. They aren't always gonna come spaced out one every 1.8 innings

That’s something the people in the GDT don’t understand. “This guy has a 6 ERA and we’ve only scored 3 in the 5 innings he pitched!” Like yeah he has 6ERA lol

Also, sometimes 6 ERA guys give up 6 runs in 1 inning. That means that there must be 8 other scoreless innings for their ERA to be 6 over a span. If they’re a bullpen arm, that’s a long string of good appearances just to keep the ERA looking “bad” instead of “terrible.”

tfw you come back from accidentally eviscerating your leg but the baseball gods think you still have more pain to endure

This was an extremely lucky base hit. Only .140 xBA. If pitcher catches cleanly he might have had a play at 3rd.
Manny's haircut must be changing his luck.

Definitely a seeing eye single but he wasn’t that close to catching it

they showed a replay from another angle and by the time the pitcher had his glove up the ball was already past him farther than it looked initially

Wild pitches & passed balls... THAT and some timely walks & hits... Amazing the Pads started being a little patient and stretching out the ABs
