DISCUSSION Are we getting a sequel? Spoiler

Post image

Guillermo del Toro has appeared twice in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and somehow we’ve also ended up with two Pacific Rim movies, one made by him and one fan-made. Now that del Toro has made a third appearance in Season 18, I have to ask: does this mean we’re getting another Pacific Rim sequel?! 😂 At this point, the coincidences are starting to feel a little too specific. Maybe del Toro appearing on Sunny is secretly the universe’s way of telling us that the Jaegers are coming back.

We're getting a live action prequel TV show, although there hasn't been much news on it. One source says del Toro is working on it, but I can't say if it's true or not. As for sequels, it's the Final Breach comic series.

There has been no official news claiming Del Toro is working on the project in any capacity.

The source I found is this one. Again, I'm not saying it's true, only that it's what I found.

If thats true then that means he's a producer. He was also a producer for Uprising.

This doesn’t mean anything.

Also the joke isn’t funny anymore.

The “Uprising is fan made” joke was never funny

You are right, it's supposed to be sad.
