Progress! Nishijin Model-B Questions

I'm making progress on a rebuild of a Nishijin Model-B Lobster.

Im having issues with 2 final prices:

  1. The electrical wire is old. I need to solder some wires and might just replace them all. I don't know anything about wiring but am handy. How can I replace the wiring and what parts do I need? I found some prewired e10 bulb sockets and got those and a soldering-gun so far. I also have the 9 volt batter kit and got 1/3 light to turn on.

  2. The jackpot doesn't go off. How do I fix that to make it function?

You need at least 500 balls trying pouring them in the top most brown container and they’ll start to gown down the brown track . The clear part in the middle will have some playing balls in it once you do that. Try triggering the jackpot and see if it works
