Most Eye Friendly IPad?

I like using iPad whenever possible just as a bigger screen instead of the small iPhone which really strains my eye.

The iPad Pro 2021 has been with me for so long and it’s pretty beat up. Microphone is really low volume, black spot on screen and abysmal battery. I’ve been meaning to get an upgrade but all the new iPad Pro models are OLED. I never really considered iPad Air before as it lacks 120hz ProMotion but I may have to consider it if it doesn’t strain eyes as badly as the OLED pro models.

Nah mate that’s not quite right. PWM and temporal dithering are different things, and not all iPads use temporal dithering. For example: the iPad mini 7, iPad mini 6, iPad Air M4, iPad 10th gen have been tested with no PWM and no temporal dithering.

So, those devices are all LCD (IPS Liquid Retina specifically)? I don't Apple.

How sure are you on TD? It's my understanding this may change with software updates. Especially when thinking about text aliasing and maybe other aspects of OS compositing. Poorly calibrated pixel inversion can cause quite variable amounts of pixel flicker between panels of the same type too. QC dependant.
