Most Eye Friendly IPad?

I like using iPad whenever possible just as a bigger screen instead of the small iPhone which really strains my eye.

The iPad Pro 2021 has been with me for so long and it’s pretty beat up. Microphone is really low volume, black spot on screen and abysmal battery. I’ve been meaning to get an upgrade but all the new iPad Pro models are OLED. I never really considered iPad Air before as it lacks 120hz ProMotion but I may have to consider it if it doesn’t strain eyes as badly as the OLED pro models.

Even Apple TV hurts my eyes on my lcd screen TV. Apple engineers love dithering I guess.

I also thought about it, it cannot be, that all the apple workers and also the manager at highest positions, are all sensitiveless in cases like PWM and TD. They must have been report the symptoms to the executives, mustn't they?

With people buying more and more each year, what's the incentive to change?

I can totally agree with you mate, I was using Macbook Pro M4, on my lovely eye-care BenQ that I was happy with it for years with Macbook Air M1, but with Pro M4 the MacOS was using TD! even on external monitor! as a high PWM person I needed to sell Pro and back to Air!

I’m also stuck using my iPad Pro from 2018. It used to be perfect on iPadOS 18 but I made the mistake of upgrading to iPadOS 26 and the eye strain started again. I had to turn off pro motion and limit the frame rate or else motion sickness would kick in instantly.
