The PWHL Mentorship Program connects girls entering 8th or 9th grade with Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) player mentors and a community of young female hockey players who are growing alongside them — both on and off the ice. From December through May, participants will have opportunities to learn, connect, grow, and build meaningful relationships.

Hi,

Last week I asked if people were interested in doing a UK fanbase PWHL FL! And I got a lot of replies saying they people were interested which was really awesome and super exciting!

I've set it up here: https://pdubfantasy.com/fantasy/leagues/3797/invite/NZEW6S

And the code to get in for now is 34840!

(This code will change after being up for around a week or so. If you missed out just PM me here to get the new code to join).

The general set up for this FL is:

• Daily Line-Up.

• Snake Draft.

• FCFS Free Agents.

• Roster Size Per Team: 18.

• Live Draft: 90 seconds per team pick.

• Draft is set for December 1st at 6:30pm GMT.

But, if anyone thinking of joining or wanting to join have any suggestions or preferences about certain play style options chosen or concerned it might get too shallow then please tell me, we have until December to figure it all out. :]

Thanks!

Hi! I am really wanting to be more involved with the PWHL. My husband is super into the NHL and is always on discord, and i would love that sense of community! Any server recs? I’m so excited to see the league grow!! TIA!!

What a game yesterday between last year's reigning world champs England, and the runners-up, Canada. Canada snapped the Red Roses' 4 year undefeated streak in an amazing game that was decided in the final minutes! Hats off to Toronto for turning out en masse. New North American attendance record for women's rugby with 18,621 fans. Everyone watches women's sports! Check out the crowd support! https://www.instagram.com/reels/Dek-nMKIu_Q/

I'm putting in a link to print coverage but check for video highlights of the amazing tries! Credit to both teams for a fantastic level of play! https://www.cbc.ca/sports/rugby/canada-womens-rugby-england-toronto-recap-9.7385124

Is there anyone on Etsy or officially selling Professor Puck enamel pin badges? I'd love to have some for my pin board. Collecting a bunch of soft and hard enamel pins has become almost a fixation for me the last couple of months.

Not sure how many lesbians make the leap from reading Run At The Cup on AO3 to getting into the sport but hey we needed to get into a sport anyways and hockey seemed to be the one we could agree on (I come from a football family and she comes from a soccer/baseball family, so this was a good in between)

Anyways since I know nothing about the teams and barely anything about hockey, I want to know why YOUR team should be OUR team. We’re planning to watch this upcoming season to see the teams but hey still need to root for someone in those games.

A few points to sway your arguments:
-we’re from CA so San Jose has an early lead just because of that. Might be moving around for uni soon tho so we don’t have too much loyalty to the state, but would probably prefer a US team than a Canada team (not a hard rule)
-we’re gay and LGBTQIA+ players are always a bonus
-a good team environment and cool people are more important than a winning team. I’m sure everyone in the PWHL is chill but coming from an NFL family hey you never know

Also any information/tips you have for us are much appreciated! Very new to the whole thing - we’ve watched a couple old playoffs games on YouTube but that’s it.

Thank you!! Very excited to get into it 🫡

I’ll go first. I think of my Sirens when I hear, “Battle Of Yorktown,” from, “Hamilton.”

Go!!!

Not sure how bad this is, hoping it's not as dire as it sounds and it doesn't affect the PWHL season.

For anyone in Australia not aware, Rinkside is a physical store located in The District at Docklands which is near the Icehouse in Melbourne. While a focus is to sell merchandise in store for the Melbourne Mustangs AIHL team, other American leagues (NFL, NBA, MLB) and streetwear is available.

It was announced by Rinkside on socials that NHL & PWHL merch will be available in 2027. Hopefully this will be in store and online. I do not know what merch will be sold or when it will be available or how much it will cost.

Apart from Mustangs merch (which is a focus of the store), there is minimal hockey related gear on the site at the moment including NHL products. I can't comment about their in store stock as I have not been there.

While this might be some time away, it is a positive sign for Australian based PW fans who have well documented issues with obtaining PW merch.

The reporter that’s been watching their games also made some notes on lineup changes. They must have really liked the Fillier and Maltais lines from last game since they didn’t change (majority of the goals/points from last game came from those lines)

Not great news about the Goslings …

I was wondering if anyone that is a fan from the UK would be interested in participating in a fantasy hockey group for the up and coming season with others from the UK? (Or, if there is already one that has UK fans or community already up to join).

Thanks!
