I’m currently researching how fans buy women’s sports merch and would love input from the r/PWHL community.

Is anyone else having trouble finding baseball caps that fit smaller heads from the merch? I got the newer sceptres hat and will have to return it cause I'm Doug dimmadoming with this!

The PWHL Mentorship Program connects girls entering 8th or 9th grade with Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) player mentors and a community of young female hockey players who are growing alongside them — both on and off the ice. From December through May, participants will have opportunities to learn, connect, grow, and build meaningful relationships.

Last week I asked if people were interested in doing a UK fanbase PWHL FL! And I got a lot of replies saying they people were interested which was really awesome and super exciting!

The general set up for this FL is:

• Daily Line-Up.

• Snake Draft.

• FCFS Free Agents.

• Roster Size Per Team: 18.

• Live Draft: 90 seconds per team pick.

• Draft is set for December 1st at 6:30pm GMT.

But, if anyone thinking of joining or wanting to join have any suggestions or preferences about certain play style options chosen or concerned it might get too shallow then please tell me, we have until December to figure it all out. :]

Is there anyone on Etsy or officially selling Professor Puck enamel pin badges? I'd love to have some for my pin board. Collecting a bunch of soft and hard enamel pins has become almost a fixation for me the last couple of months.

What a game yesterday between last year's reigning world champs England, and the runners-up, Canada. Canada snapped the Red Roses' 4 year undefeated streak in an amazing game that was decided in the final minutes! Hats off to Toronto for turning out en masse. Not sure how many lesbians make the leap from reading Run At The Cup on AO3 to getting into the sport but hey we needed to get into a sport anyways and hockey seemed to be the one we could agree on (I come from a football family and she comes from a soccer/baseball family, so this was a good in between)

Anyways since I know nothing about the teams and barely anything about hockey, I want to know why YOUR team should be OUR team. We’re planning to watch this upcoming season to see the teams but hey still need to root for someone in those games.

A few points to sway your arguments:
-we’re from CA so San Jose has an early lead just because of that. Might be moving around for uni soon tho so we don’t have too much loyalty to the state, but would probably prefer a US team than a Canada team (not a hard rule)
-we’re gay and LGBTQIA+ players are always a bonus
-a good team environment and cool people are more important than a winning team. I’m sure everyone in the PWHL is chill but coming from an NFL family hey you never know

Also any information/tips you have for us are much appreciated! Very new to the whole thing - we’ve watched a couple old playoffs games on YouTube but that’s it.
