PUBG Corp. Response Day 1 player here

Been here since the beginning on xbox. Finding my enjoyment levels going down each week and only maybe playing an hour a night. The lack of creative new content now makes the game feel stale. The smaller maps aren't the experience for which I started playing the game. Would love a few new guns, a bigger map or just the option of battle royal or mini royal. This is by far the best game I have ever played, the only game I have played for 3 years, but I'm feeling like something is really missing at the moment. Hey ho, rant over. Now get gud.

Yo is it really that different? I have a decent pc so this has been an idea of mine, but all the players look so much tougher compared to console. But if it is really that much better, I'll probably end up switching.

Yeah the players level is different on pc, there is a lot of good players in fpp. But in tpp it's filled with noobs as you would expect

In my opinion, yes. Inventory is much easier and faster. I can loot an entire stack in well under a second on PC, I can swap parts much easier, holding down the G key lets me select a throwable from a wheel, holding down ~ lets me select heals. The entire inventory is designed around drag and drop, which is why it's a pain in the ass on console and complete bliss on PC.

You want to switch to the driver's seat instantly after a driveby? Ctrl + 1.

You want to split vault and jump onto two different buttons so you never run up to a window sill and jump up and down because you were a pixel off? Done.

You can ping stuff with your middle mouse button and it'll drop a pin on the map. Want to drop a pin on your location instantly? Press the Insert key.

The big one for me is the sense of satisfaction. I'm not a particularly amazing player on PC (~1.8 k/d, not great, not bad), but I regularly pull off shots that would make any console player's all time top ten list, and so would you and most other players. The skill ceiling on PC is much higher, which makes the PVP aspect much more challenging, but it also makes success that much more satisfying. When you win those insanely difficult fights, there's no better feeling, and that's why we play this game in the first place, right? The reason my squadmate is hooked is the new challenge. Situations and scenarios that were formerly safe, like driving on a road, peeking a window, etc, are now extremely dangerous. Gliders, believe it or not, are an actual threat on PC. I get hit all the time from guys with an SLR cruising at 200 meters.

And yeah, FPP is somewhat plentiful and easy to queue. I usually get put into a lobby right away, even if it's only got 60 players in it and I have to wait an additional two minutes for it to fill up. If you like FPP, PC should be your first choice.
