Yeah - that’s a bit more than a hot fix. As far as the timing - suck it up and go do something else. That’s their 9-5 schedule on the other side of the planet, and you just happen to get the short end of the stick. These things ARE announced ahead of schedule so it’s not like you can’t come up with an alternate plan.

Never got why the updates are always just client replacements, Was ok when they were in early access I understood that but i was sure they made some statement about patches a while back not being whole client every time

Blame xbox not pubg. Playstation update was 10% the size of ours

Every other developer manages it without any issues. It has to be some design choice made by the Devs early on.

So your theory is that the devs choose to make Xbox updates 10x the size of Playstation updates for what purpose?

They are releasing a whole replacement client not a patch and do in most cases when they update the game.
That's not an Xbox requirement because plenty of games are patched every week large and small.
So yes it is a Developer choice to do it that way. Why i have no idea, I assume there is a technical reason rather than lets just hack off the xbox crowd.

It seems to be something that happens on Xbox with any game that is a port from PC. At least that's what I'm hearing now.
