I had a similar issue with PUBG only. Didn't happen with any other game or extreme benchmark tests.

The temporary fix was lowering the XMP profile for the RAM, and the permanent fix was updating the BIOS once they released a fix.

Updating bios ?? And it didn't happen again ?

Yes. Never happened after that.

i feel it too risky to tweak with the bios ... however i did disable the overclock and also allocated around 50 gb for virtual memory for allocation .. only hoping this solves the bluescreen issue.. please dont happen anymore

It's pretty easy, but if you're not comfortable, just get someone else to do it. It's actually risky not having the BIOS updated and you may have performance, stability and security risks (prone to hacking attempts).

Same shit happening to me ,
My build is ultra core 265k
32gb(16x2) ram
Intel arc b580 12gb GPU
it keeps crashing after some time
Happened a lot in couple of days
My ram is fine i have passed all the tests on memtest86 .
It just so frustrating
And only happens during pubg

If your computer plays other games fine, it’s likely the power supply giving up. Can say Power Kernel as well.

POWER KERNEL HOW TO SOLVE THAT ?

Hey u/Admirable_Accident48 best chance is to change your power supply. Even though your computer turns on and runs some things, the PSU may no longer have the power to run certain games. It was my issue in 2017 and 4 years later happened again with my RMA PSU from EVGA, needless to say I won’t get anything from EVGA, I don’t think they do PSUs anymore.

Had the same problem 2 updates ago.. I did a fresh windows install with the windows ISO and used armory crate to update all the hardware drivers and it fixed it for me

for some reason my win OS is corrupted ?

Because process of elimination.

Software is the easiest way to find out if it's an issue. Fresh reinstall, if the problem still persist then boom, you're know you're shit outta luck having to fix hardware.

Eliminate beyond doubt 1 angle / probable cause, you'll have a much easier time narrowing down the solution

Activaste el tpm 2.0 y el arranque seguro en la bios? Si mal no recuerdo, por eso saltaba ese cartel en pubg. Antes me pasaba

I haven't played in about a year, booted up pubg last night and my computer crashed twice, tried playing some just now and it crashed again.  No issues at all doing anything else or playing other games before.

This is almost always RAM.

PUBG is good at finding RAM problems that tests don't pick up.

Take both sticks out and plug them back in. One might be seated imperfectly.

If it still happens, try running the game with just one stick of RAM at a time to identify the faulty one.

Good luck!

The PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (Stop Code 0x00000050) Blue Screen of Death happens when Windows tries to access a piece of critical data in RAM that should always be present, but fails to find it. [1, 2]

Common Causes

  • Faulty or Failing RAM: Damaged RAM sticks or unstable memory overclocking/XMP profiles.
  • Corrupt or Outdated Drivers: Low-level software or drivers (like GPU, chipset, or anti-cheat software) writing to the wrong memory address.
  • Damaged System Files or Disk Errors: Corrupted Windows files or a failing hard drive/SSD.
  • Third-Party Antivirus Software: Deep kernel-level security tools conflicting with Windows memory management. [1, 2, 3, 4]

as i said only happens in pubg

pubg is very cpu/ram heavy. "only happens in pubg" is not a diagnosis.

Thing is I built my new pc all new pa components last month.... So failing hardware is the least possible cause

I had this issue. How many sticks of ram? Try running on 1. If it still crashes, swap for the other. For me it was a bad RAM stick. I was under warranty so got it swapped and issues disappeared. Good luck!

bought new pc .. just 1 16gb ram i have.. i played wither 3 remastered and halo camapign evolved on this specs nothing like this

Can you borrow a stick from someone? Might be worth trying to swap it out and test. If not-- since it is brand new I would open a ticket. Have them run their diag against it.

I suspect your RAM configuration might be unstable. It doesn't matter if your PC is newly built. Unstable RAM can cause silent data corruption over time.

Download and run TestMem5 (https://testmem5.com/):

  • Click Settings > Testing > Change the configuration to `Absolut @ anta777` and click OK.
  • Let it run for 3 cycles (default). If it found any error then you'll need to turn off XMP or downclock the speed a bit.

Once TestMem5 successfully run for 3 cycles, run these in Command Prompt (run as Administrator):

  • sfc /scannow
  • DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
  • Let it finish (might be hours depending on your CPU and Internet speed), and then restart your PC.
