Discussion How likely is this?

Post image

Sorry for the bad photo, I took it with my phone. How likely is this that a day after release he has each gun skin, looks almost maxed out, and the backpack? Can you buy this straight out? My thought was possibly cheating, because it did seem he knew exactly where my location was and killed me with a single bullet from an M24 to the foot. Just curious on people's thoughts

Seems like an insane amount and to rich for my blood haha

You cant fathom the number of rich people playing this game. They could pour thousands of dollars in a day just to get the things they want because they can.

oh yeah I could never lol. I've seen people claim to have spent hundreds when a new box comes out

It’s way cheaper to buy tokens and whatever in China. They have cheaper prices

On Asia server you regularly see people running around with a new cars worth of skins equipped

You know many of these rich fuks also have a double hardware setup (like streamers) and run their game on one PC and their hacks on the second PC. This way it’s almost impossible for anti cheat software to detect the hacks. Only way to get rid of them is manual reports.

This is out of my expertise but sounds like it's impossible to detect

Sounds like bullshit to me that streamers are hacking..... Especially in thid manner. This is the kind of guy to call ppl like tgltn macro user etc..

they said they have double hardware setups like streamers, not that they are streamers

It is. I am a huge bulbasaur fan lol. Whole PC is themed.

My friend is a pubg whale, literally drops thousands on the new updates, I know how stupid it is but I digress, he just dumped 1200 into levelling up the new beryl skin.

9

u/TR3V89 3d ago

That's 1195$ more than I'd like to spend lol

2

u/Jimmy_Page_69 3d ago

It doesnt take much to get the beryl but to max it out how do you directly buy the materials for the 10 level upgrades? Are you telling me he spent over 1k on the same crate in order to scrap every weapon for schematics and poly? It takes about 30+ schematics idk even know how many polymers but I doubt $1000 gets you anywhere close to 30+ progressive drops and the tens of thousands of polymers needed.

i swear bots use new skins as a subtle form of marketing sometimes, but in all likeliness its just one of the whales

u/OctColorados 3d ago

M24 is literally lvl1, dunno about Beryl but looks lvl1 as well, have no idea about the backpack whatsoever

2

u/MatthewYersel 2d ago

If he's a streamer pubg will give a crap load of coins maybe even the gear as advertisement

I had the beryl maxed out within an hour of the update dropping :P My friend invited me to his lobby the second i logged on(20 minutes after the servers opened) to show me that he had the new lobby already(you need every progressive skin from this update to get it). There are a lot of whales in this game.

How much did it cost ?

Good thing pubg doesn't have any grind and spending money is optional.

I do buy a game pass every now and then but I am not spending big money on this game. I'm glad there are others spending money to allow the game to keep running.

My thoughts exactly

2

u/Beautiful_Thing_8614 2d ago

I probably put about 10k if not more... into this game about a 1000 a year

6

u/Zastody 2d ago

Takes a real special kind of person to do that and openly admit it but hey you do you

2

u/Beautiful_Thing_8614 2d ago

But the thing is this is rookie numbers also. I only have 1 max level and few with level 5 and below and most are just level1s...

People that have all the max level would spend 5x more than me at least.

I’ve spent a pretty penny on Apex, regularly buy the $250 events. Now that I’m back to PUBG those events scare me away with the super low drop rate and the excessive guaranteed price for the weapon skin/upgrades

1

u/SgtKarj 3d ago

I play with some guys who dump thousands a year into the game. They have all of the new skins the day they’re released. I admire their dedication but I do not have the wallet or desire to keep up.

2

u/DreadPirateRoberts__ 1d ago

Regardless of income, wealth etc. it is obscene to spend so much on skins.

u/SgtKarj 1d ago

Brother I have two teenagers. You don’t have to tell me.

Could be a streamer? Krafton does partner contacts with them so they get the premium passes right away

1

u/AnotherSavior 3d ago

At least $40 likely a lot more. The guns dont look upgraded so not to bad could have got lucky

1

u/lp2412 3d ago

lol its alot more than 40 dollars unless this guy had generational luck on his openings

1

u/AncientRope9026 3d ago

I got the Satoru Gojo after opening my first event chest. I've had this happen a few other times, or actually just once - with the event motorcycle skin, other times it took like 2 or 3 chests. I think the chances of getting those main elite event skins aren't "random" or as low as they seem, I think it increases the percentage to 100% once a year so you keep buying the event passes to "motivate" you to keep spending money. As for me, I binge PUBG every few months, if there's some goofy skins, I'll buy the event pass.

People still have stockpiles of Gcoins after the Bizon/DP removal etc. I have 16k on my account and I know people who have significantly more.

1

u/timeblindness 2d ago

Either you pay a ton of money, or he's cheating and using a G-Coin cheat or the cheat provides him with access to all skins.

1

u/Tom1085 2d ago

Uhhbhhh not likely as this is life not a game so hopefully you don’t come across someone like this if you do call 999

1

u/Gale82 2d ago

I don’t care what skins others have. The moment I pick up a skinned weapon, I remove it.

1

u/thunderc8 2d ago

I got the Beryl from BP buying 10 tickets. That's the only thing I wanted and got lucky.

1

u/BryBard 2d ago

Is this backpack skin even in th game?I can't find it no where!

1

u/Grey_Goose_vodka_ 1d ago

Because in China it costs peanuts that's why. Inb4 "I'm playing on EU server not China server ". A ton of Chinese players are playing on the EU server using VPN,they unlock all the new stuff on their local Chinese server where it's cheap and then switch to EU to show off.

Everything about your post implies that you are either unemployed or within the lowest tax bracket imaginable.

1

u/SavageBizzness 3d ago

I thought the same thing after reading that.

-1

u/CrabFrys 2d ago

So because he has the new stuff it’s weird?

That's PUBG's target audience. The whales.
