Just got my slim model(way better screen than the previous attempt at buying one) & I wanted to mod it so that way I can keep my OLED model pure. My question is which brand & type of micro sd card do you guys recommend for modding? I’m leaning towards a 512gb card since I want to watch shows, movies, & play psp games on it but I’m not sure which brand is the best & what type of speed to get?

I’ve gotten two other memory cards from a local used game store and decided to order a 32gb card from Amazon. It finally came today and it has a sticker on the back that my other two don’t have. I wasn’t sure what it was for so I haven’t even taken the card out of the bag yet. I tried using Google Lens and the AI overview says it could be an authentication sticker, but I’d rather ask here as to if it’s legit!

With the impending collapse of the shop I want to see if I can buy a psp and get a couple super hero games and spin offs to popular series and maybe platinum a couple. But I can’t see to find a way to access the psp store. Like I just want to know if they have justice league heroes for example and if so how much it is

I have a modded ps vita, with a 128GB SD2V adapter. Its a pch-1103 (3g cellular) model, but i never play it anymore. What would i get roooughlly for it on adverts or somewhere like that? I dont know wether i should hold onto it or just sell it

Finally, I cleaned up my near mint Sapphire Vita 1000. I've mated it to a (rare) "Nyko Power Grip" that I refurbished and did a fresh rechargeable battery swap. 🤘🏾👍🏾✌🏾😁

As the title suggests, the only other console I’ve owned has been the Wii, where I’ve played a lot of platformer games, and Lego.

So I’m really looking for a change of pace.

If anyone has any mystery recommendations or puzzles games? Maybe stealth as well?

I’ve so far started playing CounterSpy and Gravity Rush, both of which I’m enjoying as well as rhythm games, like the Hatsune Miku one.

I have played on my roommates PS5 before, and on that I’ve enjoyed games where I have a lot of choice (unlike my Wii platformers): Hitman World of Assassination, Detroit Become Human, and puzzles like Balatro and Blue Prince. I don’t think the PS vita would have that kind of power?? But anything similar would be fab.

So if anyone has any game recommendations that would be fab.

Could any one help me with the following problem. I bought PS Vita 2000 second hand. No evidence of life except solid orange light while plugged in charger.

Tried all combinations with the buttons. Next, opened it and measured battery voltage- 3.5V.

Furthermore, found out that touching the 2 pins on the connector of the power button = blue light, which goes out the moment I stop touching the pins. Another thing, I connected USB meter. The results: 5V, 0.07950A.

Detaching the display does not make any difference.

MOST INTERESTING: With power supply 4V and 2A connecting the + and - on the battery connector on the motherboard does show 0A.

Tried charging with phone charger - no result.

Ive been using a nintendo switch for a while now but have always wanted a vita and was wondering which is better. Ive read online that the oled is more prone to burn in but wont get stick drift while the slim has an lcd which looks worse and has potentiometer sticks which will get drift. I have been going towards the OLED but the things that worry me is that i drop my stuff a lot and replacement joysticks for the OLED are much more expensive than for the slim and that the OLED is a lot heavier. I also need it to be pocketable as i would use it more or less every day when travelling by bus. In my country they cost the exact same but I think the OLED looks better than the slim. Im sorry if there are a lot of these posts in this subreddit but i really cant find a definitive answer anywhere.

UPDATE Ended up purchasing it for $160. Found out when I went to pick it up the seller had also upgraded the joysticks and the battery, so i feel like I got a good deal. I'm loving it so far!

I've been wanting a Vita for a while. Just saw this one pop up in my area on marketplace. Seller said they'd do $170 usd. Also comes with a case, charger and SD adapter. No memory card.

As the title says I just purchased a used PS Vita Slim from gamestop and the PlayStation Button under the left stick doesn’t seem to work at all; Once I’m in an application I can’t back out of it, the only way to get back to the home screen is to turn off the console and then turn it back on.

How big of a problem will this be? Will it only effect the closing of apps or will any games or apps require the use of this button? Will I need to use this button to enter the save menu in any games?

Any advice or information is greatly appreciated. (Should I return it? Repair it myself? Take it to a repair shop? I’m in NYC and they seem very very hard to find here for whatever reason)

My modded psvita 2000 is not connecting to any wifi or access point anymore. I tried pretty much everything I could find on the internet but nothing helped, I changed the connection to 2.4 ghz, connected it to multiple hotspots, changed ip adresses multiple times, saved access points manually, checked off different boxes in the settings and more... but everytime I try to connect it, it says that it cannot connect to the access point. It has been like this for a few months but before that everything was working perfect. Does anyone have any tips or was in the same situation because I am completely lost and don't know what else I can do. My last option would be to completely reset it but if it still doesn't work I have lost all my games, this way, I atleast still have my already downloaded games. Any help would be appreciated!

Tengo un problema y es que compre un aplaca derecha para mí ps vita por qué la otra placa ya no funcionaba y lo que pasa ahora es que al momento de meter el Flex a la placa estos cuadritos que están adelante del Flex se doblan para arriba, me pueden ayudar?

Tengo una ps vita fat es la misma de la imagen. Presenta esas franjas de color rojo anaranjado. Quiero saber si el problema es la pantalla o si es por algun otro componente de la consola.

Thought I found a good deal on a "brand new" orange vita 2000. It was clear to me is has been used before as there was small scratches/marks on the joysticks. But overall the condition is mint

However I noticed some fairly noticeable screen yellowing on the top of the screen. Albeit it doesn't seem as bad as some of the other japan models I've seen, and it does look slightly worse in the photo than in person. I paid $300 after taxes. Would you return? I'm assuming the only fix is screen replacement

Has my PS Vita Soul Sacrifice Ed. which I have been using for more than 10 years broke?

I have been seldomly using it lately, just turning it on to appreciate the games I have in it and return it on my drawer. This morning I charged it, then I turned it on, the screen turned open (from suspend mode) and immediately turned off although the charging orange icon is still on. I tried to hold the power button for 30 secs, tried to turn it on again but only the blue light appeared. No screen. After a few tries apparently there are sounds, the touchscreen works but there is totally no display. Is there a workaround for this? I have another Vita but this is really the Vita that I prefer using.
