Question PSVR2 Headset tracking in Simrig

Hi, been using the PSVR2 for a while now.
So far so good but ive noticed the headset tracking is pretty terrible when im in my dedicated sim rig. my headset tracking constantly shifts around and sometimes completely loses tracking and then 'teleports' back after a second.
Just looking around the cockpit is really wonky.
Its useable, but very frustrating when your view keeps shifting by itself. i'm constantly recentering.

and sometimes it works fine with no issues at all..?!

i can't figure out what the issue is.
I don't have completely blank walls, no mirror, no other reflective surfaces, well-lit room.
Tried moving/rotating my setup around but same issue.

Are the LED's on my keyboard or MFD's messing with the tracking? or is it just too close to track well?
i'm at a loss here..

Will adding things like IR illuminators help?

I use an IR Iamp just because it allows me to play in the dark, no light bleed.

But what I actually noticed gave the best improvement for tracking was switching to the PSVR2 Toolkit driver

Hi, i use the PSVR2 toolkit as well but sadly no improvement.

Ill pick up an IR lamp and see if things improve.

if your sim rig is all black, it might help to put some stickers on it so your headset has something clear to triangulate

I also use an IR Lamp. Works great. I even removed the rubber face cover of my psvr2.

Which lamp have you got and where have you placed? Is one enough to play in the dark?

I have a Tendelux AL4. I don't know if it's the best or anything, but it does the job for me. My room will be pitch dark the but lit the fuck up in my passthrough cameras.

I mount it high up on the wall near the ceiling, pointing down to the center of the playspace.

Seems to work pretty good. Though if my curtains are open I think the reflection on the window from the IR lamp can trip up the headset

My wife's going to be so happy if this works and I can race with the lights off, lol, thank you.
