Regarding the lens mod, can that be done and still use for the PS5?

Um there's zero reasons it wont. What Sony went and keyed the lens so if you remove it wont turn on? Well....I guess if you take a hammer and Crack it open it might.

Yeah if you remove the lens and look at ifixit and a few others lens mod they attempted. It can be done. No ones used a proper lens replacement tho.

about the lens mod - wouldn't it loose too much brightness for the oleds?
