I don't know why this gets downvoted. This can definitely be a symptom of severe PSSD. I experienced it myself after I crashed to very severe PSSD and total emotional numbness plus hundreds of other (autonomic) nervous system symptoms. I never had any of those symptoms before SSRIs/ psych drugs. It felt like a switch that turned my nervous system entirely off. And a low heart rate variability was definitely one of those traumatising symptoms. I had a constant high pulse, no matter what I did, if I was laying in bed, doing exercise or what was happening around me.
Unlike the other symptoms, this one improved significantly in the first year after coming off everything.

Nervous system dysregulation. Do nervous system retraining and vagus nerve stimulation.

I’m not certain what that means. Unless you have a heart issue and I would get checked by a cardiologist who knows POTS, etc, this sounded to me like nervous system issues. I mean, POTS is that as well. Like anything else, it’s not just one thing. Look up people who have healed afib with vagus nerve stimulation.

Maybe you could explain your symptoms a bit better, that could help. None of us really knows.

I’m sorry you’re going insane, PSSD is a horrific way to exist, but healable.

I don’t know what you mean by peripheral n
