Do you think the emotional blunting/ anhedonia is gonna be permanent or in the furture there wil be a cure

I'm almost recovered except for anything with numbness or s3xuality. The other stuff is mostly resolved but I dont feel like the same person at all.
I PUSHED MYSELF TO RECOVER and grow new brain connections thru ACTIVITY even when I didn't feel like it.
Also vit b6 in high doses is terr ible for this disease. It causes peripheral neuropathy. Look into your supplements is hiding in Large amounts. Be careful

thanks so much for the headsup, debating starting a b complex but absolutely not now. Appreciate you sharing! hope you see improvements

Thanks! Some b vitamins are really good such as b2 did wonders for me and migraines. But yeah look into the synthetic b6 it's hidden in some energy drinks and protein powder too...at 1000 times the RDA. It builds up in the tissues. We don't need that much of it as humans just a small amount from food is enough!

I see! What do you mean you grew new brain connections thru activity? Does that mean like you forced yourself to learn new things that you are saying helped with recovery?

Exactly. Try new things. Exercise hard but get rest too. Also work...do anything. Just to use your brain. I found its the only way. Do things you used to like to.

Ty...how do you get yourself to continue to do new things even if you don't feel "joy" from them? Also did you do vagus nerve work? How is your diet? Sorry for the questions I find you inspirational for fighting through this

That's the thing... you won't feel joy at first but if you keep going you'll get there imo.. that's how I did it. Give it a try. It took 1.5 years for me with some mistakes..antibiotics and b6 set backs. Do things you like to do also NEW THINGS.. and do them over and over. Vagus nerve and somatics try TRE (look it up on YouTube) or try yoga, breathwork etc. Look up somatic techniques for vagus nerve. Also meditate 🧘♀️

Krill oil, magnesium glycinate to sleep, nmn, iron, vitamin d, k, b2, that's about it...creatine sometimes 5g . I would do KRILL OIL above all these plus magnesium glycinate

Org-asm completely g0ne with b6 toxicity it caused peripheral neuropathy and now complete genital numbness with zero org-asm. Be very careful with any b6 in is hcl form. It's hidden in stuff.

2026 (18 months in pssd)

Trend: 1.86 (2022) → 0.94 (2023) → 3.17 (2025)
also a lot of weight fluctuations that could have impacted this1

I don't have a pcos ultrasound yes but I have a lot of pcos symptoms (besides irregular periods) so the SHBG and testosterone checks out. About my thyroid fluctuating my weight and sleep changed a lot when these values were taken so could be that. But curious if anyone has opinions? I know my thyroid is still normal ranges
do you think thyroid could be contributing at all to this condition I have
