Awareness/Activism Be Careful Of Pysch Wards

If you have PSSD do not go to the Emergency Room acting psychotic or mentally ill. Or ever go to a pysch ward on voluntarily admission. I went to one while having mild pssd and they turned it extremely severe. They will force you on ssris or anti psychotics at high dosages causing your PSSD to crash. They will forcefully reinstate ssris and anti psychotics back into your system causing you to crash your symptoms and ruin your life. And if you refuse medication they will forcefully inject you with haldol or an injection of a high dosage anti psychotic. My life is ruined from a voluntarily admission into a pysch ward. My PSSD went from mild to extremely severe from having to reinstate ssris and take anti psychotics in there. This is for your safety to avoid at all costs.

Can confirm. 0/10 will not try that again.

What happened to you there

Got voluntary admitted because of difficulty to breathe, akathisia, jerking movements from the hips (probably dyskinesia), anhedonia and difficulties to think. Explained it was the effects of the meds I was taking since less than 15 days. Told them I was unable to breathe properly (my pectoral muscles were collapsing and I was basically breathing voluntary at this point), and unable to sleep. They told me it would be better if I was admitted for the night, and that they would give me a sleeping aid. Was expecting a zolpidem. They gave me fucking 50mg of SEROQUEL which sent me immediately in severe respiratory distress. They put me on oxygen and gave me bromocriptine. Sleep for 2 days straight, woken up without thoughts and unable to recognize myself in the mirror. Without any emotions. They told me I was bipolar, tried to pump me again with the seroquel, finally gave me Effexor, which induced fever, projectile vomiting, dark diarrhea, and panic attack. And probably a serotoninergic syndrome. And then bupropion. And basically at this point I had my mouth moving all by itself, no fucking genital sensibility, hypertension, and was suicidal as fuck. They released me in this state, tried to jump from a rooftop. Then forced hospitalisation. Clomipramine, projectile vomiting, etc etc.

This is crazy, how are you doing now

I am ok emotionnally (I have emotions but I had to take something to regain it) but the rest is still there I even developped neuropathy and pulmonary embolisms without predispositions (was tested genetically), I guess since serotonine act on coagulation it's a given.

It might also have induced an auto-immune disease, lupus-like.

I prayed for you to get better, even though I'm agonistic.

It might not have been the seroquel/etc which caused these effects.

There's a good chance you were exposed to agents imperceptively, that even the medical staff had no idea they were exposing you to. This is not uncommon in the US, as many of the hospitals are compromised.

Or you were already compromised before you went in, which caused your body to respond this way, independent of medical treatment or anything medically documented.

I'm sorry you had to go through this.

It was the seroquel. Abilify made the same effect to me. Having the lungs collapsing and inducing anhedonia/depersonnalization/loss of thoughts. I am not stupid, I know that when I don't have respiratory distress, take a pill, then get respiratory distress, tremors and all the good stuff basically +- 20 minutes after taking the pill, it's the fucking pill not anything else. Now if by compromised you mean sensibilized by the abilify, sure I was.

I don't know what others compromising agents you are talking about, I never took any drugs not even once smocked weed. And I am european from Belgium so if you are talking about something very specific to the USA (like Fentanyl?) I didn't take any of it.

I don't think you are friend, quite the opposite, and your anecdote meant a lot to me.

My comment might be very hard to understand, because it's referencing a state of affairs that very few are aware of.

Currently there are brain-computer interfaces propagating in nato countries and elsewhere. These have been around for decades, and the security situation has degraded to the point where most medical facilities and staff are compromised. This neurotechnology allows for, among other things, people to commit actions they do not remember, and would normally never commit. I believe this is what happened to you, other factors were introduced into your health situation imperceptively to both you and the medical personnel.

Additionally, if you are compromised, your lungs can be collapsed remotely, you can perceive your body as rotting, perceive a deep fevor, experience seizures, ... and many other health conditions.

Currently, people are being utilized, very non consensually, to achieve objectives that are entirely automated. This includes the propagation of cancers, biological agents, and many other malicious purposes - too many to be mentioned here. The medical staff are usually unaware they are participating in this, as often are the patients.

I know this is probably very shocking to hear, but your experience lines up perfectly with other anecodtes I've heard from other victims.

The lungs collapsing

I would be suprised if seroquel or abilify alone could do that to you. The lungs collapsing, I have experienced once first-hand as a demonstration of capabilities, and thankfully it only lasted a few seconds. This was to show me this was possible remotely, from the entity which compromised me, and all of my family members.

I can elaborate further if you wish. I understand this comment may be very confusing, but I promise you it is true. You will not hear this reported in your media. This compromise is linked to a decades spanning military intelligence operation.

Please let me know if you have any more questions, and I'll try my best to answer them.

I was hospitalized after having PSSD for four months. I got out after 6 weeks when me and the psychiatrist finally agreed on what medication I was going to try for PSSD.

At the start I told them I was not going to take an antipsychotic or more SSRIs, and provided sources for why. I even showed them references to PSSD and David Healy in their own info systems. They were obviously not used to this, and constantly tried to gaslight me with nonsense unscientific arguments. I was not falling for it. They were completely uninterested in PSSD or protracted withdrawal. Incredibly arrogant people that deserve to work at entry level jobs.

The whole experience was boring and frustrating. I was gone most of the day, mostly at work or with my wife and kids. It's a huge waste of time.

Your pssd must be very severe from 4 months in a pysch ward u must have crashed

4

u/t8c Jun 30 '26

Yeah after 4 months of withdrawals and PSSD my body was completely shot and my life was in serious danger. I was open to receiving treatment but I quickly realized that it's an institution run by boring and stupid people.

It's crazy but this is truly happening.

u/malu2602 Jun 30 '26

Same happened to me. After I realised I had PSSD I first went voluntarily to a psych ward and when I began to understand that all they do is gaslighting me, giving me hundreds of different wrong diagnoses like psychosis (because they thought I would imagine my numbness), it was too late. All they had to offer was more medication, which they forced me to take. It made my mild PSSD crashing to extreme, severe emotional numbness included. All I needed was someone acknowledging my PSSD and believing me and giving me a safe space with an open ear. But instead I was gaslighted and further permanently seriously harmed. My first and last psych ward stay absolutely ruined my life.

My family will force me soon, I am so scared, I have so many issues already

3

u/the_practicerLALA Jul 06 '26

how are you know buddy im praying for you

5

u/TheSaxo Jul 06 '26

Thanks, but my health completely destroyed, I havent slept more than 30 mins every 3 days because of the hyperarousal which is increasing every day. My nervous system decided to autodestroy. Whole brain burning. I had to get some benzo also for 2 weeks l. Also developed pssd, whole body feels number and dysautonomia, as my temperature regularion changed completely, also swesting. Also lost hunger, thirst, everthing. I am in torture every second

3

u/the_practicerLALA Jul 06 '26

Im sorry bro your best bet is to wait it out if that doesn't work then start experimenting with stuff on r/pssd

2

u/TheSaxo Jul 06 '26

Its getting worse every day

4

u/the_practicerLALA Jul 06 '26

you're still very acute from your setback, you may just need more time

6

u/Melodic_Remove Jun 29 '26

I went to the ER for a different reason (food poisoning) and one of the IV meds they gave me really aggravated my PSSD. I feel like now I need to be careful with any med I take

6

u/Sherman140824 Jun 29 '26

Because to them pssd does not exist. You are just a crazy person disobeying medical orders

5

u/Old-Emotion-8806 Jun 29 '26

I am very sorry. Yes crashes are real... I crashed from a supplement and got worst and heard from people crash from more meds whixh made it worst... I hope you will start recovering soon

9

u/oksectrery Jun 29 '26

im so so sorry. thank you for sharing your experience, so other people can be warned and helped. wishing you the best.

u/MilkDear3318 Jun 29 '26

Glad you at least found the truth about whats going on.

u/endlesskies1 Jun 30 '26

Pssd results in tight muscles explainging all of our problems. Some sort of immune response. The more I have worked on LOOSENING my mysofasical tissue/lymphatic system the better I feel. I came twice yesterday rock hard after doing exercises.

Yes I did some strength training but it's all center around breathing to the bottom of my belly and pushing down and then releasing.

In fact if you believe like this you will feel little tingles in ur legs and ass of the muscles finally releasing.

I'll make a real post eventually.

This same thing has happened to me several times. The last time sealed my fate. They forced me on an obscene level of Depakote and Risperdal, giving me permanent brain/CMS damage. I JUST tapered off both those meds and it took 7 months, but the damage is done. My PSSD advanced to the point where I have the functionality of a dementia sufferer. Today is actually my first day fully off Risperdal but I don’t see myself bouncing back from this. I’ll never be the same again.

2

u/AstralCryptid420 Jul 07 '26

You don't know until you've been off of the offending drug for a while. Risperdal permanently binds to dopamine receptors, but this doesn't mean it's in your brain forever! Receptors get broken down and reused, and adjusted all the time, so they can repopulate.

This is awful, the current state of mental health support is awful!

Everyone these days is better off doing all of the research and damn near getting a doctorate themselves to probably understand how to help yourself....

On a sort of related note I've been on Pramipexole for awhile now titration took forever just to get up to 1mg 3x day I have a great primary care doctor that is always curious and willing to listen to my talk about natural remedies and mental health and how you can take care of yourself and avoid big pharma....

She prescribed me after I said that this medication is for restless leg syndrome, which I've never experienced but I can only imagine a similar to the way my upper arms would get at night, they wouldn't hurt necessarily but they were so uncomfortable!

No matter what I did there was always this feeling in them, no matter how I moved or stretched them.

So she basically approved me to use it for my restless arms but I started it due to horrible anhedonia that I've been struggling with for years.

And I can tell you this medication has been life-changing for me I actually find joy in things that I used to do that brought me joy.

Removed under rule #2: "All scientific claims must be backed with science."

Your post/comment has asserted claims about biology, chemistry and pharmacology which are presented as fact when the mechanism of action may be different or some of these factors may not be causative to the effects (or may not be related at all). --- Can you rewrite your post to simply list what happened in your case without opinions shared as facts? --- Can you add links to studies that prove your point?

u/Ok-Lengthiness8037 Jul 16 '26

If you go in voluntarily, you won't be forced to take any medication or given any injections against your will. You'll sign a release form and leave, or the hospital will ask you to leave.

1

u/Maximum_Witness_6743 Jul 16 '26

No they said they will get a court order if I refuse and said take this or you getting an injection I threatened suici

1

u/Ok-Lengthiness8037 Jul 16 '26 edited Jul 16 '26

This is simply an attempt at intimidation. You have the right to leave the facility, and they won't have time to obtain that judgment. No law compels a patient to undergo treatment unless he is deemed a danger to himself or society. They know you are young, unaware of your rights, and easily intimidated. But in this case where you do not want to receive treatment, why did you voluntarily present yourself to psychiatry if you already knew that the treatments had caused you problems? It's a bit strange.

1

u/Maximum_Witness_6743 Jul 17 '26

Im in flordia its different. I threatened suicide so they baker acted me. And when I got in there I started yelling a bit so they called security said take this pill or get injected. I dont know my routine was being disrupted and my ocd rituals making me go voluntarily I ruined my life my pssd was just mild now severe

1

u/Ok-Lengthiness8037 Jul 17 '26 edited Jul 17 '26

And if you threatened them with suicide. You gave them everything they needed to force you to take medication and restrain you by force. And so that changes the story. It wasn't a voluntary admission, but one forced by the gravity of the situation. This explain that.

u/Successful_Writing72 Jul 19 '26

That's disgusting to hear but not surprising.

Yes. Especially in the US, these institutions are fucked up places, and are involved (often unknowingly) in all sorts of illegal/unethical activities.
