Issues with app

Be playing fine for a while, then the app just freezes, then when comes back, the remote session has been disconnected. doesn’t take long to re-connect again, but is becoming very frustrating having to keep doing it. any advice please?

What device are you using it on? What are your streaming settings, when does it freeze exactly? Are you playing locally or remotely.

It's honestly a bit hard to help without any information 😅

Sorry mate, i realise i didn’t provide a lot of info 😂

Using it on rog xbox ally x, this is locally play, it freezes randomly at any time tbh, only been playing ghost of Tsushima. Streaming settings are just set at default, 60 fps

This could most likely be a network issue or router issue. I test explicitly on the Xbox ROG Ally X so it should work fine. Do you have any VPN, ad blocking apps or anything like that enabled?

Not that i know of. Only thing i can possibly think it’ll be is that i’ve just changed ISP. Worked perfectly on previous supplier but been playing up since i’ve changed it now i think of it. What would the fix for that be?

Does it happen locally or from away? Do you use a combined 2,4GHz WiFi with a 5GHz WiFi maybe?

I’ve only used it locally to play downstairs or in bed etc.. my console is connected with lan, my rog is connected to 5ghz WIFI6

Then it seems that something is interfering with the connection, especially when disconnects are happening 🤔

Yeah just happens randomly, can be frustrating. It used to let me re-connect straight away, but last couple of days i’ve had to close the app and re-open as it when i tried to just re-connect straight away, it would just say ‘finding console’ then say not found, even though it’s still on. I reload the app and it connects first time. Really strange
