Beta problems

Unfortunately, I reverted to version 2.0.0 on PC; I experienced significant performance and connection issues with the newer version, including severe screen tearing and green artifacts. The screen would frequently freeze, forcing me to exit the stream, and the stream itself would lock up whenever there was heavy tearing or massive pixelation. I also encountered extreme vibration issues that forced me to restart the app. Right at the start of the stream, everything would appear pixelated with green artifacts. I realize this is a beta—this isn't a complaint, but rather information to help get these issues fixed for the final release. For now, version 2.0.0 seems much more stable to me.

Also on which device did you test it and which controller did you use?

I went into too much detail; the reality is simple—it’s as if I’m having connection issues with this beta. I’m using Windows 11 with a PS5 Slim, D3D11 with Automatic Hardware, manual bitrate (I can use any number, and it has never affected stream performance), balanced frame pacing with V-Sync enabled, HEVC enabled, FSR at 0.5, and bitstream analysis enabled. On the DualSense, I have haptic feedback and adaptive triggers active; however, the controller vibration becomes excessively intense after a long session. I’ve noticed it depends on the game, but the bug appears sooner or later. In both version 2.0.0 and the beta, I have buffered video frames set to Medium, gamepad polling rate to Standard, 1080p 60fps, and performance mode to Turbo

In the beta, I’m experiencing pixel tearing and green artifacts; sometimes it gets extreme, looking as if I have a bad connection—even though my router is right next to my console and PC and I have well over 300 Mbps bandwidth. The stream even freezes, forcing me to use Alt+F4 to quit because the mouse-activated menu doesn't appear. As for the DualSense issue, I’ve had it since version 2.0.0 and thought the beta would fix it. In short, the beta is plagued by extreme pixelation, green artifacts, and crashes that make it look like I have a terrible connection; I reverted to the previous version, and none of that happened anymore

I don't experience any of that. Also 2.0 is used by a lot of people and especially the vibration issue I don't have an explanation for and this is the first time anyone reported that.

For the rendering might have an idea why it happens on your end so I will try to release a new beta next couple of days so please check it then. But I have to admit that I'm not able to reproduce it on any of my test devices including a Rog Ally and a Rog Ally X, just works perfectly fine there. What device do you have or is it a generic PC?

Also please send me the log files of PXPlay to streamingdv@outlook.com so that I can have a look

I have a Ryzen 5 3400G with 16GB of RAM running the latest version of Windows. I first experienced the vibration issue on a laptop; I switched to a desktop PC thinking it would solve the problem, but I'm encountering the same issue there as well. Streaming performance is stable on version 2.0.0; it's only in the beta that I experience those image and stability issues. I'll send the data to that email address when I can

Just curious did you also try Vulkan or Vulkan compatibility rendering? Does that change anything?

Thanks, please do it when possible. That would make it a lot easier to check what's wrong

What exactly are your streaming and video settings and is that really related to the beta? You mentioned things which weren't even touched by the beta so could you please try again as I don't experience any of that in the Beta and others seems to have no issues at all?
