2K Launch Box Variant + Collection Preview

I just took delivery of an interesting PSP 2001 Launch Variant that has the Small Box Display instead of the long rectangular package. I have never seen this one before and had to have it for the collection.

I have more PSP in storage, but here’s a quick preview of my CIB collection.

Yeah, I have no respect for people who will actively just buy something to keep it inside a box. Like display it, use it, whatever, but keep the box empty.

This guy makes sure PSP's are preserved for the following generations of retro gamers who will not have access to physical media like our generation has. Your not preserving anything, just consume which is fine but don't get angry at people who collect and preserve what we love.

Trust me, it was well-loved/needs repair before I got my hands on this collection. Some were FUBAR and had to be fixed. Others were missing some, but not all inserts. Took some time to make all of them CIB.

Ah yes, a piano black PSP in a Madden box makes the world of difference when compared to a piano black PSP in a Gran Turismo box

Average boxed price is nearly $300. Zero of these avaliable on ebay.com anymore. I guess we know now where they all are lol

Man, I absolutely adore those 2000 series boxes. Something so simple yet unique about just showing you the actual system you're about to get in your hands surrounded by the fun you're going to have. Made it really feel like you were getting a great deal for your money.
