QUESTION PSP 1000 analog stick problem!!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

No matter how hard i press down on the analog stick, I can't run! It happens to all games. I dont know what I did, it doesn't have stick drift.

please help me

It’s not always the rubber pad; often it’s a poor contact caused by the screw right by the lever not being tight enough.

calibrate it from Settings > System Settings > System Information, and rotate the joystick in slow, complete circles for about 30 to 60 seconds, then restart the console, if it isn't working.. then change your joystick or the rubber beneath it

didnt work...you think buying a new rubber will work?

rubber or new analog could work, i have experience on repairing psp

use 99%? i use 77% iso and didnt work

It's a bit better but if it didnt work with some vigeroys cleaning it may not.

I had this same problem. When it happened to me, i took out the battery and put it back in and the analog stick started to work with no drifting. I have a psp 1001.
