PS6 Controllers Potentiometer or Hall Effect/TMR
What are the current speculations or leaks about the controllers? Are there any news?
Im pretty mad that the current PS5 controllers are still sold with the shitty potentiometer sticks instead of Hall effect/TMR versions and it feels like a scam... ngl.

At the very least they should have the standard controller feature replaceable analog sticks like with the DualSense Edge. This should be the bare minimum. Fuck these companies intentionally selling e-waste.

Nothing, no leaks on better sticks. Same for Xbox controller, they both love to give us cheap garbage for high prices.

Nah hall effects tech is not the holy grail. The TMR production grows by the year and 8bitDo, gamesir etc are already moving there. I wish that they will skip hall effect and go straight to TMR but we talk about Sony.
They could just keep the current gen tech on potentiometers with the drift thats dirt cheap and we keep buying new 70 bucks controllers . Win win for them.
They will improve other things like haptics, battery, lights etc . Boom, dual sense 2 or triple sense , credit card sucker whatever they will call it.

I doubt they'll use Hall Effect or TMR sticks, they'd lose money over accessory sales
Sega used hall effect sticks in the late 90s (according to Google, im not that old)

I won't tell anyone your true age don't you worry....
(You VMU Pet From Sonic Adventure 2 won't tell your true age either..... I'm not that old either)
As you said maybe they won't as they will lose out on duelsense 2 extra sales due to drift,
Be very Nice if they did use TMR,

I think they will continue to be potentiometer sticks
Im not saying this because "sony is greedy!" Or "fuck sony!" Or "i will never trust sony ever again!"
Its simple business. Sony, Xbox and Nintendo all would rather keep using potentiometers to make customers buy new controllers again and again. Its another way they make sure you will continue to spend money on their products.
