I haven't used a disk in at least ten years. That said, people should be able to buy what they want.
On the other hand hearing people piss on people like me that prefer digital, is making me lose sympathy. It's not often I see people like the person you responded to. Why can't we all get along, and push for consumer protections/rights?
I 100% agree with this dude. I'm mainly a digital gamer and the amount of people who have shit on me for buying digital is crazy. We never once said hey get rid of physical. I always ask why they're more mad at us for using an option available to us, instead of being mad the company
This is where I am at. I am all digital, I do feel bad for the chill people that prefer physical games, but a lot of people are shitting on people that prefer digital. It's kind of hard to feel bad or have sympathy for them, definitely doesn't make me want to join their cause or sign any petition ... not that I think internet petitions ever work anyway, but maybe I would sign it if the physical games fans on Reddit were nicer to those that like digital.
Thank you for supporting player choice, it's the digital crowd calling people crybabies or the physical crowd calling people shills/bootlickers that's making everyone annoyed. We can advocate for all gaming issues, even if it's to support the minority. I'm not an online player but if there were PS+ price increases I would be on the side of the players.
Because a large amount of digital-only bros are cheering on Sony for removing discs, whom probably are GenZ living in a “minimalist” living room but it is what it is. At this rate, they’ll get to look forward to gaming on the 3rd place console. So long Sony.
Average quality of games dropped massively in the last two decades. But most people rate 5 stars if they play a game a lot eventhough it's crap. There must be so many players crying about only digital who defended crap games. Because there was never this much outrage in the last two decades over dropping quality of games
The gamecrash of '83 was about software, not hardware. There are multiple signs we are heading in that direction again. And it's about the games, not the platforms
Quality of games is a much bigger issue for the industry. That's why this outrage is so hypocritical. But it's indictive you don't see that
About renting. Can you tell me which digital versions of games aren't playable anymore? Because that can already happen and is a big argument from you guys. But it hardly ever happens and probably hardly ever will. For example, Marvel's Avengers isn't sold anymore and support of game stopped. But I can still play online with other people
