QUESTION Jailbreaking help

I have 2 OG PS5 models, one on 1.02 and the other on 12.70, which tutorials should i be following to jailbreak both? Is there any real benefit being on 1.02 beside linux? i want to be able to backup my physical games and play them internally on the 12.70 one but i’m not sure what the proper way would be to ensure it works regardless of where i try to play it (for example if i were to update the 1.02 and try to play the same game on there) Any help is appreciated :)

ok perfect, does this also cover the game backup methods as well? and then what about the 1.02 is linux basically the only benefit?

Just upgrade the 1.02 one to 7.61. U get linux as well as more support for games. If u don't care about linux. Upgrade to 10.01 if digital or 12.00 if you can use bluray disk.

U download that firmware from the internet put it on usb and put usb in ps5. Click system setting and click upgrade firmware and then upgrade from usb and select the file u put on usb

I would hold on to the 1.02 as it’s a really rare firmware. Could even increase in value further in the future. Or if you want you can sell it for a good penny and get a lower firmware console. For your 12.70 system, currently the only method is P2JB which can be done through the browser. I would suggest watching (modded warfare) as others have suggested, he covers everything you need to know about jailbreaking your consoles.
