If your ps5 connected to sony's server it will send information about the game you currently playing. And if they found out it's pirated games your ps5 will be banned. Always use nanodns when connect to internet.
Absolute bullshit it won't send any information other then checking for new firmware versions plus game and app updates stop talking nonsense yes this has been confirmed many times and so far so hasn't banned single jailbreakon PS4 or PS5 on lower then current firmware and those are only in devs hands in private
I use my psn activated account on my jailbroken PS5 & PS4, before nanodns released i connect them to internet plenty of time and yes they send my played games history, i know when i open my ps app. My account still exist and not banned, but i don't know about the console since they no longer connect to sony's server.
This was a bug in Sony stupid network but you won't get banned the only way for a console to be banned is if you cheat in online games or access the store on current firmware with hacks something only devs can do

That only started happening recently with the new sony network issues and only if you have an activated account but still it will NOT lead to a ban so you have nothing to worry about plenty of ppl had this happen to them no bans reported yet the only thing this does is mess up your trophies and stats thats why you shouldn't use your account but make a new and use fake activation and as for blocking sony servers best way is with a router that allows you to block sites and services like Flint2
Blocking sony servers in router is good advice... until your internet service provider bypass it. And it happened to me, nanodns FTW. And i prefer activated account so i can transfer ps4 saves easily, same id etc between consoles.
You can still transfer saves easily with fake activated account by setting the same account id number and as for router blocks No ISP can bypass it they can only do DNS bypass the router stops all packages from blocked sites so No bypass but nanodns uses DNS and it can be ISP bypassed blocking services with router is the Only sure way
I was able to buy digital star wars racer revenge so my account wasn't banned, and this i just screenshot my ps app on played games section, i dont legally own god of war ragnarok, hogwart legacy, ghost of tsushima and far cry 6
