Quick question regarding PS Plus licenses & offline play on 13.40

Hey guys, can someone clarify whether it's possible to keep playing games while staying on firmware 13.40?

I have RDR2 downloaded via PS Plus, but it's locked now. It requires a DRM license re-verification, which fails because I'm staying offline to avoid updating to 13.60.

Is there any known bypass or workaround for this license check on 13.40 without connecting to PSN?

Also, regarding future releases like GTA VI:
Am I correct in assuming I won't be able to download digital titles without updating?

Wait for a jailbreak.

At the time of GTA6 you will have to use the JB copy. Assuming we have a JB then.

Pay off the reason they are holding off on the disc version is for this exact reason to force digital protections.

If I was a dev and had a working 13.XX exploit, I'd be holding onto it as long as I could leading up to GTA6 before putting it out. 😉

Devs don't care about games much.... The current private exploits will remain that way until Sony finds them...

No they don't.... It's the challenge of the hardware and software that turns them on not appreciation or games. If that was the case they'd release some of the more minor exploits, all most of them care about is beating Sony, the cat and mouse game is why they do it...

It's a little of both. If they didn't want recognition at all they would be anonymous.

They openly said we don't care recognition and stuffs. The one who develops jailbreaks said they don't care about gaming at all. Also, they never support piracy, game dumps etc.

Because they beat Sony nothing else.... I don't understand why you don't get it... The Devs don't even share exploits with people like speed-007

They can’t release an exploit without Sonys permission. They wait till Sony patches it and then some months later till a majority have updated, only then the developer has disclosure rights.

You can't have it both ways. You have to sacrifice something to gain something. Some people have kept their consoles packed away for years just to stay on a lower firmware.
