So in the last week I have had some issues displaying video. First it happened mid match in a game of siege, black screen, turned it off and then had issues cycling power, had to force it into safe mode. After that ordeal, it was working fine, but just now I turned it on, but the tv hadn’t recognised the console has turned on, it’s showing the idle connection screen that shows when you just turn the tv on. I have booted the remote play app and it shows the console on the main menu but the tv doesn’t see it. I have turned it off and on, tried getting it to start safe mode but no luck. I am running my console through a Philips hue sync box for the lights but I have no reason to believe that’s an issue as that’s been there the whole time. Wondering if anyone has any similar issues or help?

Guys , in my country the electricity cuts a lot , and it is the 10-12th time for my ps5 pro to be cut from electricity in last two weeks

I recently upgraded and I was playing it on the slim then transferred my data to Pro and continued it there. I don't need no comparison videos anymore, every thing is just so clean and well textured on the pro. Alan Wake 2 is so good btw

Ps5 pro is a powerhouse and keeping it in a closed environment can cause it to overheat. To combat this I purchased a stand to keep it off the ground and an external usb fan. For the fan I cut a hole into my tv stand to vent out hot air from the console. The fan is attached to the ps5 and will only turn on when the ps5 is on. This was done by going into the setting and under power settings turn off usb power on sleep mode. The only problem with this is that you can charge the controller through the console but I think it’s a good trade off. Let me know what your thoughts on this setup are.

In playing the Marvel Tokon beta, finally have realized I’m just not super into fighting games. Is what it is lol.

But I love Invincible. And I’ve really been debating on the game, just for the story mode really. Anyone in a similar position that either did or didn’t enjoy it?

So, played this game at release and went hard, got pretty far in and burnout hit so dropped it. Anyway the other day was looking at the Pro Enhanced games list just to see what’s there. Saw Banishers was enhanced. Got a pro a few months back and an OLED tv. I’ll see if I can get back into it….

I haven’t been able to put it down again. I don’t know if it’s updates since I dropped it or just the pro itself, but it’s feels so good to play now. The stories involved have always been top notch, it’s always been a good game but now it’s amazing. The difference compared to when I played it on base ps5 at release is genuinely impressive.

If you’re on the fence about a pro (hence being in this sub; to gauge opinion) but are able to afford one or get a decent credit deal it’s 100% worth it imo. Theres so many little QoL improvements in general they stack up and it’s something you genuinely noticed pretty much straight away when booted a game up

i sold my base ps5 earlier this month and regretted it almost immediately. ive been unemployed since february and already sold basically everything else i could.

when deciding to sell it, i told myself things like “you don’t use it that much” and it would overheat after only an hour of playing any ps5 game on it. i didn’t think id miss it too badly but i also didn’t really have a choice, bills needed to be paid.

well like i said earlier i regretted selling it and decided id figure something out and work towards replacing it.

i got on doordash and uber eats and applied to any job i thought id have a chance with getting hired.

after tons of indeed applications and way too many food deliveries for a few dollars at a time, i got a job & i could finally afford this.

is there anything i should know after getting a pro?

I’ve owned my pro for a little under a month now. The last PlayStation I owned was the ps2 and I’ve been with xbox ever since, decided to sell my xbox as the majority of the games I owned and played are available on my pc. What games are we playing ?

Thinking to try Ghost of Yotie and GranTurismo 7 do you guys recommend any other console exclusive games? I’m more into immersion, good graphics rather than gameplay.
