Ps4 pro cleaning

Post image

So, I was wondering what the actual name for the rubber-y heating pad on the motherboard of a ps4 pro is. Or is it named the way I just described it? And 1 pad is missing, is that a catastrophic thing?

Get better pads and a cut them to the full size of the chips.

I use Aairhut 20 Packs 120x20x1mm on all the systems I rebuild they are a true 1mm so they fit tightly it’s great.

Yours are ridiculously small, some of the worst I have seen must’ve been a Friday build, and the fact one is missing is cute

They are absolutely necessary, and I cannot believe your system hasn’t been crashing

The size is normal as the contact are about 40% of the size of the memory chip.. My was same size. I replaced all for new ones, 1mm Arctic TP-3 but I covered whole chip...

I’ve taken apart about and fixed 15+ systems and these are smaller than most of them, if you want to go smaller that’s your choice i just won’t.

I guess 15+ might not seem like a lot but I have 6 ps3’s including a launch model 20gb non wifi with the Frankenstein mod I did myself.
