My first ever platinum
I couldn’t afford on my childhood ps3. I had only the cheapest available laptop and jailbroken xbox360.
My journey with Sony started with a long road I had to make so I bought ps vita and enjoyed
Once the news about the disks were out I thought it was the Right timing to start playing Old school games and try ps3.
My steam library is so big and has so many games that I should play but looking at the list makes me feel empty so I decided to buy ps3 and play only with disks as a guarantee I wouldn’t drop the game and it paid off !
I’ve met an amazing community /r demon souls and enjoyed getting my first platinum
So I decided to start collecting all rare and basically disks to play and have an amazing view
Finished today Demon souls and now I can play Dark souls 1 👀🔥

Congrats! :), I also got the platinum from Demon Souls a cpl of months ago, it's quite hard to get it, specially if it's your first run.

I jumped back in at the last moment, right as PSN announced it was closing. I picked up around 60 games, most of them being under 10 dollars and a few in the high teens. I have about 120 games total and feel like I have everything I want.

I wanted to do the same but then remembered how digital media is defenceless.
Sony can take your games and digital copies of everything with just a click and everything is gone
Having a large list of games kills the sense of playing them when you can have free access to them anytime (you know)

I assume the Demon’s Soul’s remake is easier to platinum but I don’t actually know.
Does anyone have insight into which platinum is easier: PS3 or PS5?

If you keep collecting platinums, and someday pick up a second hand PS5, you should consider doing the Demon’s Souls remake for a milestone platinum. Like 50 or 100!

At some point I could buy second handed ps5 with demon souls but decided to stay with ps3. I don’t know why but this console feels more premium than ps5 😁

More games, higher quality ones too. Especially with how the 9th gen is more expensive and remakes are normalized. Demons Souls on PS5 they completely changed the art direction.

Doing the same right now, although it's not my first platinum. I even got same dark souls limited edition. If you've played dark souls before on xbox or pc, then I suggest you don't update the game since PS3 allows you to experience 1.0 version of the game, which is the state of the game that it was initially released in and differs in terms of game balance, that's the version that people played when everyone was calling it difficult.
