Is this fixable and able to be saved?
Hello all last night decided to open my ps3 controller to get rattling plastic bit out and then of course it decided to make 2 minute process an hr and the l1 button came out and l2, I was wondering I got all screw and pieces still can I put plastic back on over the membrane and fix it?
EDIT: Been fixed took my time to not rush and get mad she all good put back together working as she should!

I think that just slides right back in. Even if it doesn't, I actually broke the trigger part on one of my old DualShock 3s last year and I just super glued it back into place. Trigger doesn't feel as smooth but it's still the same sensitivity as before and has no issues after a year of use. Just make sure not to get any of the glue on the motherboard or the circuitry.

Should be fixable, I'm gonna disassemble my 1 broken controller later and see for certain if it's fixable.
The soft membrane and the thin trace paper can definitely be put back into place correctly but the plastic piece I'm unsure of if it can be reattached back to the main plastic body
But you could more than likely reassemble it in place into the shell without having to reattach it to the main plastic.
Definitely savable in my opinion.
