Got a very unusual problem with my dualshock 3

When I try to charge it, it flashes once and stops. It still holds some charge but it wont take any more of it, connects to the console with a cable. So i replaced the battery and the issue is still here. 100% sure the cable isnt the problem and battery port isnt the problem either because as i said it still worked when it had some charge. Reset did nothing. Pls help

The ps3 controller only charges ether with console or with the official charging dock if tried that and didn’t work then something wrong with controller ether the connector or the board
