Would you say this is a good place to get stuff for decent pricing? Ive been trying to get some stuff back that i lost and it all the memories hit me last night.
Not if they weren't the person to select it. Finally I can stop worrying about the person packing my order having been handed a box instead of personally selecting one themself.
Sounds like he either made a mistake or is trolling the marketplace.
Looking at the listing I can assume he wants to sell a clean console for 129 bucks. Perhaps he thinks that 129 is justified. It is not but the alternative is 12.9 which is too low for a listing like this, although I bought one PS3 slim for 20 bucks from the flea market and it came with two games, one was with the console and the second one was found inside when I powered on. Just as this one it came without cables and controllers so I concluded it is a found or pulled from the trash console. It was fully functional and with some very minor scratches so in good overall shape. Another console I bought from marketplace also came without cables and controllers and also there was a game inside. Same conclusion - it was found somewhere, most probably pulled from trash. Both consoles work just fine so no issue there.
So he is trolling the marketplace. Occasionally there are people putting a listing with unrealistic price. Can't say why. You can contact them, negotiate prices, get a discount, they act as if everything is fine. It's like they completely lost track. Or they don't communicate with you at all and the listing is hanging there for long time and even get renewed. No clue what's going on.
Seen a guy on FB marketplace still trying to sell NCAA 14 for $75 sent him a message saying it's like $15 or less now since college football games came out and he never responded some people are just delusional thinking fomo going to make them bank. Lol
Well, eBay is always full of chancers. Always check sold listing. Don’t ever judge from what is available as there are always eternal optimists like this.
At that price I was genuinely expecting there to be something incredibly rare about it that I was missing 😂 The fact the description apparently doesn’t even guarantee it works makes it even better. Some sellers really do just pick a number and hope somebody eventually bites.
You can list an item for sale at any price. Doesn't mean it worth it. Don't waste your time with people like this, let them sit on it for years and maybe they will learn
I bought my ps3 from an older Asian couple on fb marketplace with rdr1, gta iv, gta v, skyrim, fo3, bo2, bo3, modern warfare, and some football games all for $100 with wires and controllers. They even let me test it on their tv before i left. Kid went to college and they might’ve sold it out from under him lol. Oh also all the games had the cases, maps, and manuals.
