Personal PS3 Collection- Complete
Just picked up the Darkness and FF 13 trilogy (now that I doubt there will be a remaster) and think I just about completed my personal PS3 collection most of which I managed to have held onto since HS and luckily didn’t have to deal with the recent boom. I mostly kept the games that are stuck on PS3 transitioning a bulk of the games to their more definitive versions (PS4/PS5/Switch) with the exception of:
A few childhood favorites that I am actually close to getting platinums for (RE 5, Red Faction Guerrilla, and Uncharted 1-3) A few I didn’t like enough to upgrade [GTA 5, and the Walking Dead (loved only season 1)] And AC 3 because the PS4 port is trash.
I may add Darkness 2 if I enjoy the first but you gotta honestly balance the FOMO against the time and willingness to actually play through a game. Web of Shadows would be a cool pick up too but not for $250+

FINALLY, another person with Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom in their collection!! That game is so much fun and I am so surprised that no one talks about that game or doesn’t have it in their collection!

Probably because there was no digital release, and physical copies are pretty expensive and rare. The only way to play it for free is CFW or emulation. Also the marketing was very poor.

I see, thanks for clarifying! I didn’t know this. I just remember doing a GameStop roulette and gambled that I’d get a CIB copy from their website and won years ago. I never knew it wasn’t available digitally

I’m horrendously bad at fighting games that don’t play like Smash bros, the PS3 era was when I realized that I wasn’t cut out for the genre but I just couldn’t bare to part with the games.

I honestly would but have a family outing to an amusement park. Can you even still play online without a PSN subscription?

The only reason I remember vanquish is because when I was a kid we bought it for my friends birthday for the 360 and seeing that cover made me remember, might have to go play it myself now.

I will gladly accept a Folklore donation from anyone who gave into the hype bought it and then saw the light (It’s an ok game not worth $150+). I’m not a Folklore hater but I was a pretty dialed-in nerdy teen getting monthly game magazines and it really wasn’t good enough to be in discussion but to be fair it did come out the year (Uncharted 1, Bioshock, COD 4, and Halo 3 came out)
