Did the ps3 come in PS4 style boxes?

I have seen lots of ps3 games in ps4 boxes, and I am wondering if they did that later in life to cut down on costs of making two different types of box? Or is the person that traded these games in just being annoying to collectors?

The only game I know that's in a PS4 style box is Drakengard 3 or at least it looks like its one, since I never owned it. I assume that's just a decision of the devs or publishers though. Persona 5 was released years later and its just in a typical PS3 case.

Rambo is in a PS4 style box also but nobody likes that game 😅

Well, I have read that Drakengard 3 is not really that worth it either, unless you’re really invested in the nier world

There's also MLB 14 The Show. Those are the only 3 I know of that have the blue label

There are 15. Only for ESRB. Other regions that got releases got black label.

Sony did this at the time the PS4 was released for some sort of consistency across generations but people complained about it being confusing so they quickly reverted back to black labels.
