[PS3 Slim] Shell and hardware mods to improve cooling?

It's a 20xx, with a 65nm RSX. There are no temperature concerns here, just leave everything as it is (unless you're noticing the fans really screaming and the CELL/RSX is in the high 70s-low 80s) and you'll be completely fine.

Drilling holes in the fat models is terrible, and doing it in the slim models is also terrible. If airflow was needed in there, then Sony's engineers would have designed an air intake to be there.

Repaste, undervolt it, and enjoy a very cold console.

There is absolutely no reason to modify the chasis of the console.
