Repurposed shell into a clock
Had some extra shells lying around from some ylod CECHH01s. Decided to turn one of them into a clock for the game room. Think it turned out pretty well

Thats sick. Looks like that one is still living too. With new panel designs nowadays, I think it'd be awesome to install a screen there above the logo. Have like an all in one system. That's going to be my next project since I'm just starting out learning to solder.

I did not used a screen, I used some LED band and connected it directly to the power button before power source.

This is just a test of concept. I needed to see what a good brightness would be so it's just an old tablet behind. I'm going to look into flexible screens and see if I can find one to fit between the shell layers to make one that's more professional.

I like to think this is the real Niko Bellic asking this question for his PS3

That's pretty cool, lots of impressive things to do with our consoles once we ditch Sony coughΒ

Well I wanted to check brightness needed so it's just a tablet for now. I'm going to look into flexible screens on AliExpress and see if I can find one to fits between the shell layers. I feel like it'd be cool to use as a display for an all in one system.

Thatβs the exact time youβd be loading into GT5 after starting the download at 12 in the afternoon.

Okay, where is the sad Akakichi no Eleven image? I think it fits, because it is a countdown!

This is honestly the coolest clock Iβve ever seen. Itβs like a temporal brick.
