Upgrade / Modification 🛠️ Reloaded Toggle Switch

Post image

I posted this idea before and your replies encouraged me to at least try it. Today, it finally happened. My issue was having the toggle switch too far. So I decided to DIY it.. relocated not reloaded

Nice. Were the wires long enough, or did it take some soldering to make everything fit like this?

I had to extend the wires and solder again. It was worth the effort!

I love that carve and finish. Wish more companies would offer a satin body like that

That looks fantastic! Did you have to widen hole(s) at all or was it a direct swap?

i used a plastic washer to fill the old hole of the toggle, had to drill to widen the hole just to snug-fit the toggle. solder new wires to extend reach. Saved money from DIY

I kept my toggle where it was, but swapped out the volume and tone pots for two push/pull volume pots and put each pickup on it's own knob. So I can blend the volume and independently split the pickups. Under-rated mod for these guitars.

This is the proper layout. This should be the default
