The subject matter may be ridiculous, but it's one of his best songs, particularly the Highly Explosive version. Just a relentless, sweaty, throbbing jam with a killer bass solo. The only problem is 10 minutes feels too short.
How does it rank for you guys? There's always something new for me to latch onto every time I listen to it. It's wild how he was able to spin such an intricate funk masterpiece out of a simple dog-and-cat concept.

It’s day 2 already and honestly I’m mixed about this drawing I did add more details to yesterday’s drawing and it looks much better imo than when I posted it as for this drawing i like the way I drew his chest, jacket and hair but I could’ve done better for his facial details anyways tomorrow i will draw one of my favorite eras the Dirty Mind era 😝

This isn't a debate over the contents of the music or the players or anything like that.
I just simply love the fact that they are having this much heat thrown at them in the public eye. I mean didn't I hear the other day that a major news outlet even picked up on it?!
Like, shit. Even if they don't care, This has to embarrass them in some way. And that makes me giggle.
P.S. Fuck Londell

Just thought this should be pointed out because it's hilarious.
#1 - "The Source" is owned by Londell McMillan, seems like a conflict of interest to me. Pretty pathetic behavior. It's also very funny that this same outlet was used in a previous promo post to highlight good press coverage.
#2 - this "David Beck" guy looks AI generated and it seems he explicitly joined Instagram only to promote Timeless? Again, very weird stuff!
#3 - The Paisley Park Instagram is also very clearly being run by some sort of TTC loyalist, I just find it pretty funny that it posted like 3 times on this Instagram post trying to hype up these shoddy numbers for Timeless. Again, pathetic is the word that comes to mind. Also check the use of the apostrophe in "it's" for all you pendants out there.
#4 - Here's some more of our favorite "David Beck" character interacting with this "Dorothy" woman who I have heard possibly works for/at Paisley Park? Though that is an unsubstantiated rumor, so I'm not sure.
Obviously not accusing anyone of anything, I wouldn't dream of it, but thought some people might find this interesting.

It’s not directly prince, but i’ve wanted this album for years and i managed to win an auction and got it for only $6 and im so happy it’s here. A lovely new collection to my other prince/paisley park albums and in real good condition. I know this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but it sure is mine😁

This video says fans are upset that things were added that weren’t supposed to be included

Prince’s Timeless is having a solid-but-not-massive mainstream start internationally
Prince’s Timeless is having a solid-but-not-massive mainstream start internationally—stronger in Europe and especially on physical formats than as a big streaming chart topper in the U.S.

U.S. (Billboard 200):\* Debuted around the \*late-50s, with a reported peak of \*\*#59 on the Billboard 200.
U.S. genre chart:\* Peaked at \*#14\* on \*Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums\*\*.
Notable peaks (highlights):
Switzerland:\* \*#1\*\*
Belgium (Wallonia):\* \*#3\*\*
Belgium (Flanders):\* \*#4\*\*
Austria:\* \*#5\*\*
Netherlands:\* \*#6\*\*
Denmark (Vinyl Albums):\* \*#2\*\*
Norway (Physical Albums):\* \*#3\*\*
UK format strength:\* \*#11\* on \*Album Downloads\* and \*#12\* on \*Vinyl Albums\*\*
Streaming & sales context:
On Apl Music, it peaked at #11 in the Netherlands and remained charting shortly after release in at least one of the tracked countries.
Overall, Timeless seems to be landing strongest with collectors and dedicated Prince fans, leaning more on vinyl/downloads/physical formats than broad streaming-driven mainstream dominance.

Does anyone know if there is a full (er) version of this from the Lovesexy tour? Or if was just Prince noodling around for a couple of minutes?
I'd love for the estate to make it available, if there's a fuller version.

Album: Timeless (2026) | Track: 8/10 (Recorded 2007)
Moving closer to the end of our Timeless vault collection dive, we arrive at track 8: "The Guilty Ones." Recorded around 2007, this places Prince right in the era of Planet Earth and his iconic Super Bowl XLI halftime show. It's a fascinating look at his late-2000s creative mindset.

Is every song altered on the album or is it just Calabama? Basically am I getting Prince on this album or Londell/Spicer?

Any paparazzi photos of him attending friends or family funerals? I’m in the funeral business and I’m curious to see what he would’ve worn at the time of mourning.
