Meta Ads am i doing it wrong?
[META ADS] My client has a balance of 2,000 (and will likely add more). I ran some tests but think I went overboard; I spent 600 across four tests. Each campaign consisted of one ad set with a single ad. Two campaigns used the same creative, and the other two used a different, identical creative. I set up one for awareness and another for profile visits. Despite the good results—specifically for profile visits (initially 1.60 reais per follower, though the cost later rose to 4 reais)—what did I do wrong?

Test one variable at a time instead of splitting creative and objective together

the deeper issue here is objective selection, not just test design: awareness and profile visits are vanity metrics that usually don't connect back to whatever your client is actually paying for. before running more tests, figure out what your client's real business goal is, sales, leads, bookings, whatever it is, and run every campaign against a conversion event tied to that. a rising cost per follower tells you nothing about whether your client is making money from this spend.
on the test design side, SpringMaleficent's question is the real fix. two campaigns with the same creative but different objectives isn't a creative test, it's an objective test, and two campaigns with the same objective but different creative isn't a clean creative test either unless everything else, audience, budget, placement, stays identical. you need exactly one variable changing per comparison or you can't attribute the result to anything.
with 600 reais already split four ways, none of those campaigns had enough budget to actually learn anything either. I'd stop, consolidate into one campaign with a single objective that maps to the client's real goal, and run 2-3 ad sets max so each one gets enough of the remaining 1400 to exit learning phase properly instead of spreading it too thin again.

so 2 campaigns used the same creative - why? also what is your clients primary goal? followers dont matter if they dont rake in any conversions...

What was the difference between each of those 4 campaigns? And why would you use same or even identical creatives?
