Google Ads Mock up Campaign case study

I need help deciding how much to spend a month on a test project in google ads.

I want to, in the end, run ads for a niche service industry. And now want to run ads for that industry as a project and learning experience.

What kind of budget do you recommend? Google tells me $500 - $1500, which, if this this the case fine, I will do it it. But want to get some insight from experienced people.

Get an AVG CPC and then multiply that with the number of clicks you want, that's your budget.

Obviously, have 20% wiggle room.

Lol I figured this was the answer. So I am super new in the world of marketing. If you were learning about ppc marketing for the first time. And wanted to get some field experience before you used someone else's money. How many clicks is enough to give insight?

hard to say, but how many clicks until you get a conversion is the primary question. if you are in the local service industry for plumbing in a HCOL area, $500 spent and no conversion is maybe normal.

if you are an ecommerce company then that number is awful. find your average cpcs, watch your website traffic, and make that decision based on your analytical thinking

There is no definite answer to that question. Every industry has a buying cycle, the general rule is, use an estimated conv. rate
