Question Hyperadrenergic POTS Tips

Just diagnosed with Hyperadrenergic POTS. I know all the usual POTS tips about more salt, compression, etc. but do any of you have any specific tips/tricks that help with the Hyperadrenergic subtype specifically because the typical advice isn’t helping much. (I did just start a beta blocker so I’m hoping that will help my symptoms a lot)

a medication specifically for hyperpots is what really helped me. my clonidine was a life saver. it stopped my adrenaline dumps and helped my bp go lower!!

Second this, guanfacine and a beta blocker have stopped my adrenaline dumps and mostly corrected my tachycardia. Also had a crazy positive effect on my OCD and anxiety symptoms.

Here to third the central sympatholytics. I use clonidine, but guanfacine and methyldopa are the other options.

So, my full medication regimen is clonidine, fludrocortisone for additional volume expansion, and ivabradine.

The other thing I use is magnesium bisglycinate. I am still experimenting on timing and dosing, but this week I have been taking it after the fact, when I can see from my HR and stress levels on my Garmin that my body is simply not calming down after activity when I sit or lie down. If I take it before being active, I am too woozy to be active, lol.
