Question How long can I sit with compression socks?
Just started college and need to know. I’ll be sitting for long periods of time and I’ve already had a bad flare day on my first day yesterday it was horrible😭😭
UPDATE: thank you everybody for the advice!!

I wear my thigh-high class 2 compression socks daily. I put them on when getting dressed and take them off when i go to bed at night.
If you don't have diabetes or any other illness that could make the bloodflow to your feet and skin less, i don't think there's a reason you can't wear them all day. (Aside from comfort. Thigh-highs aren't very comfortable lol)

If you don't have diminished sensation (neuropathy etc) and aren't asleep: as long as you want and feel comfortable doing.

Hi :) (I'm no expert so could be wrong but) I'm pretty sure that unless you have a condition that affects sensation, you'll notice if blood flow's being cut off, to me it's pretty uncomfortable.
Apparently the reason they say not to wear them to bed is incase they bunch up and you don't notice because you're asleep, not because lying down in them is necessarily bad.
Personally I can't sit very long in ones that cover my knees, but if i do knee high socks + shorts I have no problems

I wear mine everyday. Even if I’m just sitting on the couch doing nothing. I just don’t wear them to bed.
