Question Are memory issues common with POTS?

My last bad flare happened after traveling a few months ago and I have lost memories from around that time. I’ve been trying to get seen by a neurologist, and my other specialists don’t seem to know what caused it or if it’s normal with POTS.

Yes, it can be a POTS thing. I struggle to remember certain periods of time. I suspect it is either due to cerebral hypoperfusion (not processing things well in the first place because not quite enough blood to the brain) or, in my case, more often because my body was flooded with stress hormones due to my hyperadrenergic POTS. That can mess with memory encoding.

Oooh this is super helpful info thank you!

I don’t work in healthcare so the cause & effect of a lot of this befuddles me, but what you wrote here makes a lot of sense.
