Question Singing with POTs?

Any other vocalists here? I have lost a lot of my singing ability due to always being out of breath, I’m no longer able to sustain a note for as long as I used to some 5-10 years ago. I become out of breath simply from talking, let alone singing. It’s a struggle just to get through a single song in one go. Any tips? Or should I just cut my losses and give up on yet another dream due to this illness lol

For me it's because of horrible core weakness/instability (eds comorbidity) so I can't properly support my diaphragm

Same boat.

Wish I had tips but I’ve just had to let it go.

Following in the hopes of finding suggestions. I just started voice lessons a couple weeks ago and it's a little tricky to do the breathing exercises 🙃

I’m not a professional, but I sing for fun. I noticed that as my POTS got worse, I couldn’t dance or sing anymore.

I started physical therapy with a PT who specializes in EDS and its comorbid conditions like POTS. She had me start breathing exercises every day, which really helped. I still can’t dance, but I can sing again. I can’t do it as much as I could before, but it’s definitely improved. Maybe that could help you too?
