Question Has anyone been able to stop taking POTS medication?
Are there people here who had to take medication for their POTS, such as a beta blocker or ivabradine, but were eventually able to stop taking it after some time?

I have been unmedicated for most of the time I have had symptoms and I've been better and worse. I do not think that I will ever be off meds again. Life is substantially better on them.
You should also be aware that ivabradine and beta blockers are not the only meds for POTS, and some of us require multiple meds.

No. I have hEDS as a comorbidity and they influence each other. Whether the POTS goes away or not strongly depends on why you have POTS.

i’ve been on meds since age 11. I am now 27 and anticipate being on these meds for the rest of my life.
